Why HOWL price on ED has dropped recently? Is this just a symptom of weak hands or the lack of good innovation behind the whole project?

I'm hoping that HOWL is developing a unique platform and not just another app using the Telegram API. Please do all you can to avoid the disaster known as GetGems which had a similar concept (Social Messaging App).
No worries, We're not building the app using the Telegram API.
We hope soon to have a specific release date of the beta.

I am very excited to see the apps design cant wait till they announce some alpha/beta testing or something.

Every coin holder wants his coin to go to moon but only few coins actually go to moon.What is unique about this coin that you think can take it to moon?
This project is unique in the sense that it has a clear Road Map we and the development team only needs to walk through it. Other coins have big dreams while they're asleep, here in HOWL we dream with our eyes wide open. Dev asked for help to get the word out in social media and the HOWL community immediately went to work, some opened Telegram channel, some went to Slack, some conquered Twitter, I opened HOWL Facebook Group a week ago. In short HOWL community is behind one goal and one dream. Nothing will stop us in making that dream into reality. This coin has a cool product to wit (HOWL Chat ver.1 is in development already) while others have not. In some coins/project developer(s) don't communicate that much with the community here in HOWL, dev answers post, get back on us however he can considering how busy he is at work. I can go on with a litany of good things about HOWL but I think what I've said is enough already.

Awaiting for that specific date then.
Hopefully it's not that long to see that beta version so every potential investor will not be discouraged regarding the current performance of howl in the trading market.

Is this app something that requires the token in order to use. Or could for example my parents use it if they wanted to chat with me? Without ever using a coin.
It should be ok for your family if you read the first page. Team will release the app first, then the wallet. If they make a token requirement, I'm sure it would not be too expensive (less 1 token, otherwise the app will be restricted to 64M users...). Services like this has to be for mass.

Total Supply is 64,000,000. The airdrop was 1 month ago, I missed too, but we are lucky cuz the price is very low.
Signature campaign is on going, it could be close, you should send a dm to the dev to be sure.

I bought some Howl from etherdelta, too little market cap and there is some work for it. So it looks like worth it.

Yes, the marketcap is really low, it could go a little bit lower maybe but in the long run it can only go up.
