let's give them the chance for the benefit of the doubt. what I like here is they are showing progress with their developments. most of the launched projects last year are either dead/abandoned or trying to survive in the market. But yes, their actual performance is really far from their promised speed. they might be working on it right now...
But are they going to provide this unrealistic 1 mln TPS or they understand already that this is impossible at current moment and happy with their 5k TPS?
I guess they can't complain about their solid 5 k TPS, the next step for High Performance Blockchain is to demonstrate a live-broad use of their network with big companies like UPS and ITCEC.

1.1 Technical Project Progress
MainNet
The new version of the MainNet Performance optimization has completed compatibility testing.2) Middleware
The second phase development of the UnionPay project has completed system design and is undergoing internal evaluation. It is expected to start functional development in Q2.3) Application
The
HPB Wallet Payment Solution and gateway for DApps has welcomed
its first external project and the analysis of the product demand has started. The project is expected to join HPB’s network soon.
1.2 Product Progress
1)HPB Wallet
The upcoming update of the HPB Wallet V1.3.0 has completed functional development and internal testing, and has started the integration testing phase.
2)HPB C.Wallet (
Cold Wallet)
The HPB C.Wallet, has been undergoing design and development. It will be released together with HPB Wallet V1.3.0. The cold wallet functions include transaction signature, asset synchronization, private key management, asset transfer, and more.
3) HPB Scan
A complete overhaul of HPB block explorer, HPB Scan V2.0 has gone live. This update provides an HPB Scan exclusive logo, modern design, bi-lingual interface as well as powerful search functions, all of which contribute to a more intuitive, smoother user experience.
4) HPB HTML5 Wallet
The
cooperative project of HPB and Laya.One, the HPB HTML5 Wallet, has been fully developed and is undergoing its testing phase.
5) HPB Remix IDE
The open source smart contract development IDE tool – Remix, has completed its updating and testing.
The community can now conduct smart contract development based on Remix. Currently ERC20, and ERC721 smart contracts are supported on the HPB MainNet.
6) HPB Middleware
HPB middleware has completed the development and testing. The newly added “Solution” module on the HPB website can provide the
account application and trial entrance for DAPPs.
