It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

If You miss it somehow there was strange flaw here few minutes ago - You´ll get "INVALID BBCODE" when You put more than 117 lines of code into one post inc. empty lines (tested on FF and Chrome). Probably something wrong with bitcointalk.. Everything is OK now, but I forgot what I want to type in the first place

if nothing change, is it possible to make a new Heavycoin ?
Like Heavycoin Reloaded. Then we transfer from our wallet to new Heavycoin wallet.. and start mining from the beginning. April 28, 2014, 11:56:00 AM
Wow you people are still here. Former HVC supporter and miner.
Got out at 3200. Just wondering if there was any plans for turn around. Strato April 28, 2014, 08:32:35 AM
it seems heavycoind was down for small amount of time and explorer missed some blocks, doing a reindex atm. missing blocks will be fixed in 1 hours most likely. Now that I know who to contact - will do! when something happens like this, please shoot me a PM and I can fix it asap. can't find time to catch-up with threads nowadays. April 28, 2014, 08:01:40 AM
Lower block reward = lower inflation. We have seen that a +500 block reward drives coin value to the ground. Can we shoot for a 100 hvc block reward for a few weeks and see what happens. At this point what do we have to lose by dropping the reward?

it is time for those beautiful charts to be posted That's not for another 12.5 hours or so At least it looks like http://hvc.42tx.com/ has caught up with the chain again, so I'll give filling in the blanks another go tomorrow. Edit: Only a few, unfortunately - looks like it didn't really 'catch up' so much as re-started counting them. There's a whole chunk of blocks missing from that explorer. hi there, it seems heavycoind was down for small amount of time and explorer missed some blocks, doing a reindex atm. missing blocks will be fixed in 1 hours most likely. when something happens like this, please shoot me a PM and I can fix it asap. can't find time to catch-up with threads nowadays. Yes but probably not worth the trade-off. You can get miners and pools pretty easily. Get miners, pools and active community and exchanges will follow.

i don't think keccak scam but he not bussiness. Now wait other member control campaign. You think another dev could pick this coin up? I'm sure someone could but why would they want to unless they had a heavy stake in the coin and felt it was worth saving? In a nutshell they would have to have a really good reason to try. Otherwise it would be much easier to just start a new coin similar to HVC that said developer could/would control from day one. That's my thinking anyway, Carlo Very true... the only positive side in taking over HVC is the already established user base, pools, exchanges... April 28, 2014, 06:26:09 AM
