It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Do you folks actually believe that the average crypto trader is preview to your PERSONAL mining situations/setups/costs? lol, you know what they say! if everyone is thinking the same then "someone" is not thinking. boots and pants and boots and pants boots and pants and boots and pants ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BPbjC47GwM&noredirect=1 April 17, 2014, 02:17:38 AM

Here's a tip. I'm in the same boat as you all. Lots of wasted time and lots of wasted opportunity where we all could have been generating better revenue mining other ALTs. Keep your ears open for Maxwell Coin. Not much talk about it yet but I know the development team personally. Interesting ideas coming together. Will be based around NVIDIAs new Maxwell Architecture, but also mineable by CPU at modest profit/block rewards. Not much else I can say, just keep a look out. Follow my twitter below I'll announce more when I know more and am allowed to. Good luck till then friends. Oh, neat! Any idea when they'll ANN? And any idea if it will work well for older nvidia cards? Otherwise it seems like it'll be crazy exclusive Coins that focus just on the mining algorithm are dead from the start. It's not the miners that dictate the price anymore. It's the hype , the traders , the actual use of a coin. this whole struggle on finding new algos is a waste of time. Hence the trouble MYR is having. April 17, 2014, 12:30:25 AM

Let's not talk the coin down. All the negativity pulls down any goodwill that it has. Yup... HVC is dirt cheap folks!!! Sadly, without a small adjustment by the devs to the max allowed vote, or a massive change of heart by miners to drop the vote, HVC will stay dirt cheap. Despite a strong effort by a number of HVC faithful to get the vote lower, the downtrend of the vote has reversed course and up it goes. Clearly logic does not trump greed. The events of the past days/week have brought stunning clarity to what will happen to HVC if its value drops and what happens if it rises even a small amount. I am a very outspoken supporter of HVC and will continue to be, but I'm not delusional, something has to change. I know I'm not the first one to say the max vote is too high. I'm sorry but please explain, why do you continue to be a strong supporter? This coin is a MASSIVE FAILURE. It was designed to be GPU proof. A custom HEFTY1 algorithm. Within a week it was GPU hacked, the developer has all but disappeared except for perhaps a few random posts. Keep in mind he made off with over what.... 150BTC from the IPO? Tell me, what have you gotten for all of your hard work, energy, time and lost money? If anyone still supports HVC they ARE delusional. PS. I loved this coins concept and supported it and mined it from day one. But seriously... This ship isn't sinking. It has SUNK. No one will be mining HVC in 3 months. And good luck finding anyone to buy it if you are still holding "to the moon". Here's a tip. I'm in the same boat as you all. Developer needs to address community;it's now time to put some of bounty to work to secure the future of this coin.
There is a choice: either a great future potential or gradual decline: HVC has a solid foundation with transparent distribution, novel voting mechanism, ASIC 'cartel' proof (the reason for many to migrate to scrypt in the first place) quick conf times and not based upon a meme or gimmick. If votes are lowered; stable supply and expected influx of new GPU miners looking for a summer-friendly algo to point hashpower at, safe from the coming mASICcare in next months, this coin can have good promise. The community will start shaping nicely and gain a following If radio silence from dev, no bounties put to use, it will be a sad ending to a promising coin. April 16, 2014, 11:10:29 PM

80 GH/s network mining so still hash interest. I started from day 1 with cpu and on to GPU but I'm not mining it anymore.

Let's not talk the coin down. All the negativity pulls down any goodwill that it has. Yup... HVC is dirt cheap folks!!! Yea it is cheap. But honestly I just want it to hold so I can continue to sell, I'm doing so slowwwwwly. Over 400k. If I sold all at once I'd get nothing. I was so psyched about this coin, but it turned out to be just another scrypt coin using GPU. Who cares about voting. Voting never works. Just look at US elections. I'm sorry to say that I must now say goodbye to HVC. RIP. April 16, 2014, 03:54:40 PM
