In cca 40 minutes the block reward will drop from 580HVC to 544HVC. Buy/Mine now before the price jumps to 3000SAT today!
investor don't care block 580 or 544 . They like coin more  community.

jakiman is back!

I am using the standard conf: --lookup-gap 0 -g1 -I 8 --worksize 64
I have custom modified my bioses with a HEX editor to get low Vcore values and the card to still boot. But I think with Sapphire cards you can go pretty low using Trixx also.

Here is a list of Watt/Mhash/Mhz/Vcore's I am using:

4x 17,3Mhash @ 950Mhz/0.856V = 405W
4x 18.3Mhash @ 1000Mhz/ 0.880V = 445W
4x 19Mhash @ 1040/0.900V = 460W
4x 19.8Mhash @ 1080/ 0.920V = 480W

I am not using higher setting such as 1150Mhz because it demands too much voltage

What about memory clock?
I use 1000Mhz

Yeah, I use 900 but no difference with 1000. For some reason turning it all the way down to 750Mhz actually starts taking more electricity  Roll Eyes Smiley

Those core/voltage values are amazing. How is that possible for you?
My 4 x 280x rig can only go down to 1080/1.054v @ 19.8 Mh/s = 585W.

maybe is wattmeter is giving non-correct wattage

I doubt it as it seems to be accurate to at least 5W.
Are you able to post a screenshot of GPU-Z sensor tab on one of your 280x while your rig is running?
I'm very curious what the VDDC shows via the sensor.

those are lucky voltage, they aren't normal at all, i can't for example stay at 0.920v with 1080 core, the best i can achieve is 950 core/0.950

ZHPOOL: Why don't you compose some nice email to all your miners to set the vote to something low? You are the second largest pool and you have emails of all your miners unlike 1Gh pool which is anonymous. I would explain shortly especially to new miners why it's better choice to vote low these days and that it would drive the price up. But anyway it's important to somehow convince mainly the biggest miners to change their votes, there are just few miners with huge gpu farms who find most of the blocks. So maybe you could write to them personalised email and maybe provide them some bounty when they lower their votes. I believe it will be worth for all of us to make this extra effort and maybe some additional financial motivation.

When you download the cgminer from there pool. the default --vote 1024 on settings. newbie miner dont know about this they will just ignore it and run they miner.

Sounds like they are trying to force quicker rewards so that they make more money and aren't worried about the coin long term. Sad

This is what I think as well. ZHPool, please be so kind and so something about that, it will pay off at the end. I know it's risk for you and you most probably don't wanna end up like HVCPool but we all strongly believe HVC will survive this huge crash and will finally take off to moon soon. BTC is going up, many ALTS are going up and HVC seems to pick up at Mintpal too. Finally my bag is getting lighter. Smiley

Allowing miner apathy to inflict the most amount of damage. That's disappointing.
