It usually happens to me when I try to sync another wallet once HYPER has started. A good example, I'm transferring my MOON wallet over to that computer and syncing it from scratch. While the MOON wallet was syncing it completely froze out my HYPER wallet but when I stopped the MOON sync it started back up again within a few minutes.

I would guess that it is something Windows has where it will suspend applications if the computer cannot handle it.

I ran into this as well. Usually I'd just let it run overnight and it'd have shown progress by the morning. Pretty much everytime I ran it I'd have to do this.

This happens to me occasionally but it is normally caused by not enough computer resources to establish a good sync. It could also be your blockchain forked.

If your wallet just stopped syncing all of a sudden let it sit there with only it running for an hour or two and nothing else and see if it starts syncing again. If it doesn't, then you will have to resync using the block files offered by Crazyjack.

Stop it right now, it will take weeks for full synchronization. The fastest way is to download a bootstrap.

You can download my files as stated above or .... do it as its written bellow....although i don't know to what block is updated this bootstrap....

...or maybe we know..... if this screenshot represents recorded blocks in bootstrap, it is still almost a year behind its current block count...

I have question. My HYPER Wallet is behind, now it is 72000 blocks. And every day I get more blocks behind.
I have it online 24/7 and wallet shows 6-10 active connectctions. What can I do to improve?

Bootstrap is not embedded in the wallet, those who need a new wallet and dont want to wait for the whole blockchain to be downloaded, you can download my bootstrap from google drive (as of 29.3.2017 up to block 3424658). It contains 2 zipped files, blk0001.zipx and blkindex.zipx. Unzip to your HYPER folder. Total compressed size is 2.42 GB. Uncompressed approx. 4.10 GB. Maybe you will also need a file in database folder, if that is the case, let me know.

By the way, thanks to CryptoDatabase for the hard work you're doing and so sorry for the drawback.
But, with developers like you, HYPER is gonna survive and grow immensely.

so i downloaded wallet v 1.5.3.2 (didnt had hyper wallet till now) and it takes long time to sync.

if i will download bootstrap from the website will it be faster? or the bootstrap is already embedded in wallet  v 1.5.3.2 

Huge +1 here. Even after the tragic situation you experienced, you didn't use that as a cop out for ditching and moving on. Not sure how you feel about it, CryptoDatabase, but I would have zero issues voting you as the new leader for HYPER going forward.

I paid for another month of hosting for the blockchain, should be extended when it is confirmed.

Nope. As far as I am aware, CryptoDatabase still have access to the HYPER wallet with users HYPER balance and old game database. The database however do not have any record for new transactions. So users will have to contact CryptoDatabase with their transaction id for their balance to be updated again.

I think more hyper should be spent on development. There could still be some more games. Seeing more games would be nice even if it is just one or two simple ones. Or further development of knights of Valeria . Spending them would be good to make them more rare wouldn't it ?

Anyway, we are all in loss here. I am very sorry to hear what happened to you CryptoDatabase. I can't imagine if that would happen to me, with all that work put in and now all has been lost. I would go nuts for a couple of days, i guess!

I suggest you to take some time off, calm your mind, rethink what to do in the future and start again from the beginning, but not from the scratch, because you have learnt something by now. And do that every time. We all fall, its just a matter of time when, most importantly is how we get up and start over again and again and....etc.

Now, about our little swap project, when you get your stuff in some kind of reasonable level of order, tell us where we are and from what point of progress can we continue further on.

And about that not able to make and trades now, we can apply for an exchange at poswallet.com (sure, it will take some time). I find their service quite amusing and interesting. For coin to be listed, it needs 1000 free votes (sure, there are paid votes too). We can still apply for with an old HYPER but it would be better if we go with the new one.
