Just stop with all this escrow talk. Keep your coins, control your funds and trust no one. If the community thinks it's a scam, they're wrong, and they'll realize they're wrong in a few weeks or months when the coin is still alive and games start to accept and the MMO development is fully underway. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, the truth is what is important. Once they see that you are to be trusted, they'll stop thinking about escrow and start thinking about what they can do with the HYPER.
Thanks for the support leptoon. Having the 500 000 MMO development fund in the hands of a reputable escrow would probably be a good move though, in terms of HYPER gaining support in the wider crypto community sooner.
I'm looking into some other legal options, whereby the fund can be maintained by someone who is under a contract of some kind.
I was even considering asking Bittrex? To be honest it's a big responsibility for me to manage all 3 funds, so I've started warming to the idea of having someone else manage it.
You should talk to busoni at Poloniex (
[email protected]) about holding the development fund in escrow. It'll address the uncertainties around the pre-mine and lead to a listing on that exchange. Kill a few birds with one stone. The stink of the fund manager exercise still lingers. That needs to be quashed ASAP with a decisive and positive move.
Thanks for the idea Cohle. I'm setting up a new wallet now to hold the 500 000 HYPER MMO dev fund temporarily, until the escrow issue can be resolved. I will update the thread when this is done. Then all 3 main HYPER funds will have been set up entirely transparent and ready to fund HYPER's projects, while we work on finding a highly regarded escrow such as Polo.
Thanks again for the suggestion.
EDIT: is there a bitcointalk account for Polo I can message too?
You can always contact him or other Poloniex staff members on their IRC channel.

My vote is a HUGE NO in regards to busoni and poloniex. He has lost coins in the past (which still have not been fully compensated), he is very slow to respond to many issues (will literally have tickets finally closed weeks later after no response), multiple issues in regards to deposits/withdrawals on a regular basis. Plus the trollbox mods when it comes to actually knowing anything about what is going on internally are clueless. Deposit confirms are always multiple blocks behind the actual chain and that is blamed on the chain
Hate to come off this way, but it is the truth.
Exchanges charge for a service and need to start asking how high when we, the customer, say jump.
Bittrex is better to the extent that they have not lost any money, but there are other issues they do not want to face and again blame the blockchain or coin for withdrawals from bittrex of multiple different fast altcoins literally taking an hour to get on the chain, yet every other exchange, when withdrawing, these coins are on the chain the next block.
So overall they both leave a bad taste in my mouth, but at least bittrex has not lost money and richie of bittrex has his face and career out there, so that says a lot.
My vote is richie at bittrex, if you go that route, because even if I am getting bent over at least he responds. And to top it off, he was the first larger exchange to add you.
I would try keep it at one larger exchange until you feel the price is within the area you want and stabilized for a some time before addition to a new exchange.
