If I put more boxes to solo mining do they work together or by themselves.
You always get a full block to encode, not shares like in pools
OK. Just wondered if 2 running from the same IP would be working as 1.

Yes it would as long as u direct your rigs to the wallet IP (the computer where you running the wallet) and you have to be in the same LAN

make sure you set you wallet PC to static IP so it doesn't get changed if you restart
Wallet machine has assigned IP. Just put another 40MH/s on solo. Might as well go for broke. Shocked

They are working on same blocks, you can say they are working as 1.

Great couch pic, where did you get it?
Off of the Xtreme systems forum a long time ago. I'm sure you know you can right click and save it to use.

Yes but such pictures have a story behind, but thanks for the tip Smiley

I bet around 36 hours to find a block at current difficulty.
Ok 10 ICB that he will find 2, escrow suggestion?
If I find one I'll give 50 ICB to the one who comes closest to guessing the time it appears in my wallet starting now.
Ok, if you do not find the amount I told, I'll give you 10 ICB

You are using 4.1, that's not latest miner. Try this one (sgminer5) with 14.6 drivers and you'll get a nice boost.
Tried v5 on one machine. Not really much difference. Maybe because I'm using a modded driver.

Congratulation, you are solo mining Smiley, as I can see with latest miner, how does it feel to loose virginity Smiley.
Don't tell mom.

For info about miner output, go to miner github (ie sgminer5), read readme and documentation, there is everything explained in details, or just use google.
Didn't see any noticeable improvement in the v5 over the one I'm using so I'll stay pat for now

If you find block, you'll see it immed. in your wallet. Your miner will show you "Found block for ....".
Finding one would be the most fun I could have with my clothes on.

A BIG THANKS TO ALL

Go onto the PC without the wallet, open up a new browser and put http://192.168.1.15:20703.

You should get a box asking for credentials, if you don't then something is blocking it or the config file on the PC with wallet has incorrect details.

Post your .conf file. Do you have the wallet open also.
I put in the IP of the wallet machine in the conf file. Does this look like it's working?

All I get is "new block detected" in cmd window.

Also was does "no suitable long poll found" etc. mean?

Yes you are mining. Grats.
OK. A big thank you to all who helped. 40 MH/s probably isn't going to find a block but I learned a lot for next time.

I say you'll find at least one block in 12 hours, I bet 10 ICB, whos in?

Are you connected over ms remote? I am asking because your temp is not visible. If so, do not use ms remote, try vnc. I prefer TighVNCServer because it has custom display and you can easily connect over ssh.
