Ya when most people ask for bounty their referring to social/marketing bounties, but in this case the bounty is more in line with something like Storj, in that your going to earn a bounty for actually using the system, in this case mostly focused on security professionals, that can be rewarded for doing security, and thread intelligence work for the platform, i'm still a little hazy on how the bounty will work but its a solid idea for distribution and reward for the platform.

Interesting that the total supply of Polyswarm tokens will not be decided until the end of the ICO when the amount of ETH raised has been calculated. I do like this idea because it ensures the correct amount of tokens are created.

The term "in luck" as used by me here means that early adopters and early investors do not only get in at a good{cheap} rate but they also be amongst the very first to use a technology which until now has not been explored before in the ecosystem...

It seems to be an interesting project!It could be a good investiment!
Sure it's a good investment as the value of the NCT token will increase with time due to its usefulness in the ecosystem, look at it like a doctor that maintains the health of the system and protect it from foreign bodies, that way you know the investment one is to enter is a good deal and not to be taken lightly

I doubt. Even if there was I don't think it's started yet. Yet to see any post about bounty though.
I don't believe theres been any news about a bounty, I hope they will create one tho as I wouldn't mind some tokens plus it's good for the marketing.

Although I think there is a good interest in cyber security experts and the blockchain makes it feasible for experts to cooperate if the tokens are rewarding, but I think most of the security related issues on exchanges with huge thefts as a result could have been avoided
While i agree, you have to also remember the crypto market security is only a very tiny piece of the overall security research market, so while its probably the initial target of polyswarm the fact is the market for security research and reward is massive. Security vulnerabilities is a huge industry in itself, so anything that can streamline that process and the work vs reward paradigm would be a huge benefit. The trick is to keep the Polyswarm tokens valuable as an incentive.
Just think about where cybersecurity plays an important role. Big companies that need to protect their industrial secrets. Even for governments, cybersecurity becomes more and more important.
Everything is moving to internet or shared network, so now hacking is become very common and big problem. I have seen now even crypto currency exchanges got hacked many time so project like Polyswarm can play very big role in this area.
In many cases the hacks happen due to bad behavior from users; for example having one anti-virus software and counting on it to provide the best possible protection; there is always this comparison of which antivirus is the best. To have some sort of collaborative anti virus where you are confident that it was made possible by experts would be more re-assuring than counting on a single anti-virus software owned by a single entity.
