As I know, there is no difference. Speed of transactions via Myetherwallet, hardware wallets and desktop wallets are the same, and it based on gas limit and gwei price.

It's very important and quite rare discussed topic so I also wonder how it will be provided. I think that the major guarantee for security of STF-doers is a blockchain based storage of all data and anonimity of them in the system.
