Seems that searching  the  fake digital content is possible from any conneted to the web computer. StopTheFakes is more likely is created to fight against piracy in real life.

I think the STF will be also successful in the real life too. Since theirs app usage is so simple, and everyone has a samrtphone in his pocket.

In my opinion the main goal of this project will be fighting on the digital battlefield, cause it's more easy to realise. But maybe they will cover that two directions, it depends on the legal part.

As far as I know, StopTheFakes is only record cases of illegal use of logos, trademarks or any other intellectual property, fight with that cases will police.

Fakes drugs can be find with fake packages with wrong ID. About digital area, everything is much easier. There are a lot of users that use illegal content. You can try to write to hosting provider or service support and if you have proofs of your copyright, the decision will be made in your favor.
