1. Product Development
We are committed to initially posted timelines for product delivery and putting most of our resources into development. We have two full times mobile engineers working on a UI side of
the project and one senior developer plus myself (Vlad) on core.
Thanks to OpenBazaar reaching third milestone (MVP) it’s now possible to finalize and test integration. Some of the accomplished features:
search interface integrated with external OB search engines
order list and order tracking page introduced
listing interface updated
added wizard for creating profile/store
added ability to pay with external wallet during payment process
transaction risk scoring properly implemented
thumbor fully integrated
Things under active development (most important):
Integrated BTC/ETH/SGG wallet. We decided not to use integration with 3rd party apps due to non-measurable security risk. Almost there.
integrated distributed search
profile and store customization
handling shippable orders, tracking numbers, post carriers integration/etc
dispute resolution options
various iOS specific issues (may possibly release Android first)
2. SGG Distribution/Bounties
Due to under performance and multiple issues we let go our bounty manager and replaced him with another to help finish SGG distribution and correct distribution errors.

4. Exchanges
We are committed to bringing SGG to exchanges as soon as possible, but we need to consider and protect interests of our contributors at the same time. We are also pushing aggressively product to the market and targeting to release first public demo ahead of time. We want to conduct a poll (will be posted over weekend) to gather community opinions on this. Our options are:
Put SGG on exchanges ASAP, with no product in the stores. Keep in mind that it would be hard to reach desirable pricing this way but it can potentially put SGG into much more hands which is beneficially for company and contributors
Delay SGG listing until first beta become downloadable publically from app stores following announcement of coin burn
Middle ground – officially list on Etherbase asap, to give some liquidity and promote community distribution. Then list on major exchanges upon product release
5. Mining
There is one more matter we want community feedback on. SGG ecosystem would critically need installations and running apps and other nodes we will have “miners” for Windows/Linux/Mac. These nodes will enable smooth distributed system functionality while network havent reached enough devices. To incentivise running apps and hosting of nodes, we want to introduce SGG coin mining based on “proof-of-latency” or activity the node in the network.
Participants running apps on their phones or applications (read: miners) on their computers can earn SGG for their time online while they would be supporting functionality of SGG ecosystem
