I think I read about this in "Ready Player One"  Cheesy

Such an interesting forward-thinking concept with VR/AR.  It is tough to implement so I am hopping on this a bit late, but here to follow along and learn about the project.

With brick & mortar retail struggling, a VR-marketplace is something that would certainly be intriguing to retailers....

It's a steam like platform for VR. The shop itself shouldn't be too hard to create. It will be harder to get publishers on board.

$CYBERCASH METAVERSE

Appreciate your kind words and yes we could not be any more serious and dedicated to our project. There is so much value in our platform that it's almost hard to put into words Smiley

I was not lying when I said right now we are the most under valued cryptocurrency and ICO for what  our team has already developed and what is in store for the future. We are set to make a big announcement later today. so please stay tuned for that

Did i miss the announcement or there is not one yet?

By the way i'm agreeing vibehub is very under valued. There is too many icos raising too much money just for a promise like 6 months later maybe an alpha, but vibehub has already devoloped. I can't understand market sometimes.

But there is still time i believe investors will see vibehubs value before ico finishes.

The collaboration with mainstream artist is really important I think. The design of the hub and his application will be important for a massive adoption. People always like beautiful and design things, and it may help too non crypto friendly people to come to Vibehub. Its a good ideas to work with artist, that kind of partnership is a nice way to advertise and it will improve the design of the project. Very nice !

Additionally, collaboration with end users will be as important for any project as it needs feedback that will be critical to its successful development.

Google recently showed their improvements in AR using an Android phone. Much development is coming that way. Has Vibehub considered porting their technology to non VR systems?

I think they will consider this one because it looks like it is also integrated into their developments may be. I hope in coming VibeHub team will be more securely operates into VR system only I think?

While early versions of the $3,000 HoloLens are now shipping to developers, it's going to be a while yet before the rest of us can go out and buy one.

Have you ever worn a HoloLens? I have. The field of view is much smaller than people might expect from the demo videos they have seen, that is, a completely surrounding view. It's going to take more technical advances before we get such glasses. Let alone at an acceptable price for the majority.

Yes, people dont understand that what we see in demo videos is just a depiction or representation. I had heard Microsoft is going to release their implementation of Hololens in different sectors like Airplane safety check, dont know how much is that true.

There are various approaches to holographic images currently in development - with and without the use of 3D glasses - but Microsoft's new technology is notable in how advanced and stable it already is, even if extra hardware is required to achieve it.

Holoportation is just one of many potential uses for the HoloLens and other AR headsets like it. Microsoft has previously shown off how the device can bring interactive games into your living room and project a large flat screen of any size on to the wall for you to enjoy movies on.

While early versions of the $3,000 HoloLens are now shipping to developers, it's going to be a while yet before the rest of us can go out and buy one. But get ready for it, because the tech giants of the world aren't going to let augmented and virtual reality go away any time soon. And if that means holoportation in every loungeroom of the future, we're all in.

I am very interested in your poject, but first I have some questions about the token sale:

- How will you exactly use the raised funds after the ICO?
- What will happen to unsold token?

We explain this all in our whitepaper, funds raised in the ICO will be put towards purchasing Holoportation technology and building our augmented reality room, expanding our team even more, aligning partnerships with mainstream artists to perform in our augmented reality room and marketing and advertising VibeHub

The market dictates the price of each Vibe by the amount raised in the ICO. By doing our token sale this way, zero tokens will be burned  Smiley

Is there any base price of Holoportation technology?

I don't think Microsoft is going to publish the price for exclusive rights of their tech. That's something they are going to negotiate privately.

Have you already plans to collaborate with specific artists so far? Or are you not allowed to tell at the moment? Shocked
And if, do you try to get specific artists for specific regions, like for Asian market famous artists there?

Guys calm down, I don't think they will be releasing hardware, VIVEHub is mostly software, for now, all will be in Oculus, htc etc., they will tell us in which hardware their platform will work, AR too, for now, the technology only allows for the equipment to be kind of big, not so mobile, that will change in the coming years, for now, let's live VR an AR at home or special places.
Yes they are focusing on software, thats the thing about this project.
And hardware can be a future development.

It would be cool to have a video to see what the actual technology can do if the previous one show what could be achieved 2 years ago  Smiley
Which hardware do you need to test the platform?

Currently you can test the platform with oculus but they plan to expand to other hardwares

Can't wait till they start offering VIBEhub to mobile phones. Than simple VR cardboard glasses will suffice, opening up their product to millions of users.

I really hope they will do this. As phones become more and more powerful, the hardware should not be a problem. It's really needed for a good adoption rate

Imo VR and mobile phones don't fit together. But when talking about AR that's a complete different story. Here I can see potential for VibeHub.

You are exactly correct, the future for Mobile is using Augmented Reality technology  Smiley

Also 3 hours remain in the 5 percent bonus round  Smiley

Who knows in which direction everything will go sooner or later. Maybe at some point it will switch over to VR. But I agree, at the moment it is more like Augment Reality, maybe someday an hybrid of VR and AR?

By the way, do you already announced the big news at slack or so?

I don't think VR will ever be practical for mobile phones. I mean, you have to pay attention to your surroundings, you can't be in a virtual reality. And at home specialized VR hardware will  have the edge over a phone.

A few years ago even mobile phone was not practical and look where we are today.
Everything is possible in tech world as long as you have vision and you are planning to invest your time and energy in it.

Phones come with their own headset to mount it in.Also I don't think people will be walking on the street with the headset on. That would be suicide. Most likely the headset will be carried on long trips or on holidays.

Think wide. There can be some smart spectacles or lenses that can connect to phone. All I'm saying is that everything is possible and VR is not a thing of indoor only.
Somebody will take it the outdoor with very less hardware and it's better if it's Vibehub or some partner.

HAIL THE KING!

You can find all this information in the official whitepaper. They say that they will use the raised funds as follows:

  • 50% will be used for future development of the product.
  • 30% will be used for marketing and advertising purposes
  • 20% of the funds raised during the token sale will be allocated for collaborations with mainstream artists.
