I'm wondering why you're not aiming for a large coin supply, useful for micropayments. I mean, if I need a paid lesson and teacher is asking for $10/hour is not better to pay let's say 10 tokens instead of 0.001 for example? I'm thinking long term, if demand will be huge 1 token is not gonna be worth only $1

Tbh I don't see the problem. The most important thing for microtransactions is that there is no transaction fee and their project offers that. For me it wouldnt matter if I pay 10 tokens or 0.001.

Where did you read this zero fees thing? If they develop on ethereum blockchain you need to pay gas to send tokens.

Its stated in the opening post. I already asked how the can provide these no-fee-transactions but sadly got no answer yet.

You have to pay fees to the Ethereum blockchain, that is a given or else blockchain technology would not work. We are talking about taking no fees  from users posting content on the VibeHub marketplaces and Hubs. Obviously as demand grows for the Vibe currency we can start implementing our revenue model, but to begin we will be a fee less  platform.

It's the right choice. The first step would be to gather a user base.

You have stated in your whitepaper that your team consist of experts in VR technology and most of you had a part in some successful games and applications but dont go into specifics. Can you list some of the project where your team was involved in the past?

Members of our team have recently developed a Virtual Reality poker platform  that is in the middle of getting licensed by a famous Resort and Casino in all of their locations. We have to be transparent at the moment because the deal to get the platform licensed is in the final stages  Smiley

Thats a very nice feature!
A lot of money in the casino industry. Very excited to see this and play it Wink

Great work and thanks for sharing these updates.

Thats an amazing news.

I think it will be first gambling experience in virtual reality. So will it be just limited with poker, or are you thinking to devolop fully running casino with all games?

This is a project our team has developed off the blockchain for a major real money Resort and Casino. The casino asked for poker, so that is what our team developed haha We envision all casinos starting to implement VR/AR technology in the coming years for all sorts of games  Smiley

I think it's a start and believe you will get lots of order from casinos, fully vr casino is not a dream, it's a big probability.

I was thinking that buying vr is too early for me, but now my thoughts are altering Smiley

Thank you for answering my question so fast! Don't get me wrong, as a fan of VR I want to see Vibehub succeed because VR needs more applications and innovation. It was just a bit weird for me to see these environments being the same, especially after identifying Looq as a straight up scam. I'm not a developer at all so I'm not sure about sharing 3d models and purchasing stock pieces, but I will take your word for it. At the same time, I think I will end up passing on the ICO because I am still a bit hesitant. I will continue to follow this project though and may buy coins later on.

No problem...we appreciate your interest...I can assure you that our software is real and the videos we have recorded are actual in app footage of our vibehub VR app...there are also another 3 videos on our website showing different environments and functionality...cheers

I understand what you mean, however myself and most members of the community often don't like huge supplies of tokens. I don't feel its needed for VibeHub  with our token being able to get broken down to 18 decimals and how easy it is it will be with a conversion calculator on our interface. People will have no issues  Smiley

I just posted in here a few hours ago because I was pretty excited about VibeHub and seriously thinking about contributing to the token sale. I have recently discovered a huge red flag and I would like an answer from the project owners because it is a serious subject. After discovering the LOOQ Vr scam earlier today, it made we want to research Vibehub a little more in-depth. I have always been impressed with Vibehub's development and their demos in their videos, so I was confident in the team. I own an Oculus Rift and use VR personally, so in my research I wanted to find other apps that might possibly be like VibeHub. I discovered one app called Bigscreen Beta which let's users share experiences in environments, and it came out much earlier than Vibehub plus has investors. I downloaded Bigscreen to test it out and I was shocked when I realized that one of Vibehub's environment is exactly a copy of BigScreen's environment with a couple slight changes. I have included a couple of side/side comparisons below so you can see what I mean. I am hoping there is a good answer for this because I wanted Vibehub to be legit. I am big fan of VR and Vibehub is the only VR crypto I am exicted about right now since Spectiv delayed and I couldn't get into the Decentraland token sale.

...

I was pretty shocked when I discovered this tonight. I was just testing VR apps that seemed to be Vibehub competitors and when I saw this I was reminded of the Vibehub video. Take this for what you want, but it definitely scares me. I do think Vibehub has done a lot of work on their interface and such, but if they copied this, I don't know what else could be copied.

Hello! NO need to be alarmed... All the 3d models and assets used in our beta platform have either been created in house or purchased licensed for use...it is normal practice to purchase stock art or 3d models to help complete projects...that is also just one of many scenes...btw 3d models come with no logic, user interface, networking functionality, animations, voice chat, vibe wallet, ect...All things we have built in house...Our vision is so expansive that one of our first priorities is to expand our team of modelers and animators so we can create 1000's of custom digital assets...We know there are apps that do individual things...thats why we strive to present a one stop shop on one platform...virtual desktop support, 360 videos, social interaction, live and ondemand photorealistic performances...and various marketplaces...im sorry you feel that is a red flag...but again i can assure you purchasing art for projects is common practice...

This project got my full attention. I personally see a lot of potential cross marketing opportunities to be implemented in future versions of this project. Just imagine how irrational the markets will react if innovative solutions will be announced in future roadmaps. You could see that happen when Nintendo announced Pokemon Go for example. VR is the tomorrows leading topic for where we will go some time, for sure.

Is there already a fixed date for the beta release?

So true, just found out about this project and am really excited. VR and AR are gonna be sooo huge. It does need more easy access use cases like Pokemon Go to get through to the masses about what's possible.

Pokemon GO might not be the best example, that was popular for like 2 months before everyone stopped playing it. I didn't even hear about it until you mentioned it. The VR/AR market needs something that people will be playing for years, or perhaps not even a game, just good applications.

agree 100 percent, VR/AR market needs applications that appeal to the masses which is why a platform like VibeHub can fill that void.

What is the price of 3D glasses and cameras? Can everyone afford it? If the price is expensive it will not become popular.

Price is constantly dropping. Currently you can buy a Sony VR for 300€ at amazon. Give it some more time and it will eventually drop a little bit more

Where's VibeHub Beta web platform? I don't see any links to it. As per the Roadmap, it should be available on September 1.

its under try beta on the home page
http://vibehub.io/platformtest/#/login

Why the wallet page only asking for metamask or mist? Can't it support myetherwallet?

Metamask and mist support web blockchain, the beta needs a software that can CONNECT with your wallet, and thus, only metal mask and Mist can do that, MEW, is just an online wallet, not a standalone software, but what you can do is install metamask or mist, and import your wallet there, so don't worry, you still can use your won address.

Great. I will try that. Another workaround is like etherdelta where user can import mew add and private keys but, I guess there will be trust issues.

See the Images below:

You'll see here that Vibehub changes the background from a cityscape to a galaxy thing, but that is basically the only change. Look at the sofa and the wood paneling and the chairs on the deck, it's all identical.

These next two are on the other side of the deck, you can see that they are identical and have the lighting and everything in the same spot. Vibehub only blurred out the windows.

The growth of the wire only shows how much the project gains visibility and strength in the course, I am closely following, besides being directed to something that interests us, I know it will be wise to invest.

There is enough consistency in the project to keep intact without being obsolete for many decades, this shows us the commitment of the Team is reflected in the work, I bet in the segment of virtual reality for application in various areas of life, no doubt, and VibeHub will bring a great percentage to the reality in its course. excellent investment to make

I think this project will be able to compete with many other ico projects .. seen more and more investors are joining this ico, hopefully this will be good news for all participants
interested in investing
