New email:

"   Get bitcoins for your bounty ICN tokens
We are offering you the opportunity to sell your ICN tokens before they are issued. You will immediately have bitcoins sent to your address.

Although the ICONOMI ICO has closed, several investors still want to invest in the ICONOMI. You can sell your bounty tokens to them at a fixed ICO price now and have the chance to get bitcoins today without any fees.

How?

1. Login to the ICONOMI ICO website
2. Select "Sell bounty ICN" from the dropdown and provide your Bitcoin address.
3. You will see the exchange rate and your total amount of BTC displayed.
4. Once you confirm it, bitcoins will be sent to your account.

Best wishes,
The ICONOMI team"

How can I BUY in that new sale feature?

Good move Dev's, I was hoping to pickup some cheap ICN from bounty dumpers thou, will be interesting to see how many sold-out. This move justs adds more confidents in the team, which in turn the price of ICN.

I will only sell ICN at 300k satoshi or not at all  Grin
so not 500 or 600 when it rockets up? only 300? How very nice of you!
I'll remember the taz-man a couple months from now when I use my Founder's Club Debit card to spend 49 ICN on a new Decacore laptop.
What kind of holdings will the Founder's debit card spend? ICN only, or dividends as well?

Also - that debit card will be issued just to ICO participants (above 5btc), or also to everynone that bought ICNs on exchanges?
It would make sense just to ICO participants
It will spent fiat first, then eth, icn, icnx, pft... or something like that... it was mentioned earlier... there's an order it goes by if one resource is zero, it goes to next
maybe we we will be able to set that order... that would be cool.

why would you have fiat in your Iconomi account? Also, I think that you cannot exit performance fund right away
true so Performance fund 5 day exit period would stop that from PF.
I personally won't need the account for fiat but it was mentioned is all...
I just like the idea that if I ever got in a jam for some reason and needed access to those funds, all I need do is whip out a debit card. That's just too cool, and too tempting! I don't really like the idea of making my share-stake smaller for any reason. lol

Yeah, I will use the card for show-off or dividends withdraw. When it comes out to ICN holdings, I will want to keep them as long as possible

hello i just want to know if the sell option will available too when the icn realese?

its only intended for dumpers before its release so i guess this feature won't be there when ICONOMI will be on the exchanges. or if its there, they might just offer lesser price than what is currently on the exchange.
They have to add it to exchange as soon as possible as now everyone love iconomi and will like to do trade of this coin but if they restrict their members and the will make the members lock their money in ICN they everyone will want to sell them and will stay away from it.

it will be added, be patient.
they are currently on the testing. even if they don't release it for now people are buying thru them. ain't this the reason why the added the sell bounty feature on the dashboard?

It's likely having the ICONOMI Founder's Club Debit Card™ will have me using ICN as my main "Bank account", with the Performance and Index Funds acting more as savings accounts. Banks don't even come close to having a managed performance portfolio of ownership shares working for your accounts. As far as I know, this is the first of it's kind. An entirely new Iconomi.

Willy Woo article on Coindesk is a very interesting read

Quote from: WillyWoo
Conclusions
Bitcoin is really hard to beat with index funds, maybe unbeatable with the present state of altcoins we have. Not only do they underperform bitcoin by a significant amount, but as a combined basket their day-to-day volatility is higher.
I ask myself why we don’t parallel the stock market world, where indexes are very successful and my conclusion is that we are in a world of unvetted shitcoins.
His conclusion is the exact reason why his index simulations performed so poorly compared to bitcoin.  He arbitrarily included the top 10 or 20 altcoins, without doing any vetting to keep obvious losing picks out of the indexes, like Paycoin, Auroracoin, Quark, Bytecoin, Worldcoin

Quote from: Iconomi
The currency must have an underlying concept which ICONOMI estimates as viable in the long term.
^^^That's the reason why this eligibility factor for inclusion in iconomi.index is so important^^^

Quote from: WillWoo
Part of my beef with their investor whitepaper is they picked a bull market (since Jan 2016) to demonstrate their glam results
Prior to 2016, the altcoin market was not mature enough for something like iconomi.index.  The first 1.5 or 2 years of Willy Woo simulation was a time when complete scams or copy-paste shitcoins with hardly any team/community could pump up into the top 10 cryptos.

Those days are in the past.  Nowadays, I count at least 8 projects in the top 20 which have millions $ in the bank for development.  During the first 1/2 to 2/3 of Willy Woo's 3-year simulations, such altcoin projects did not yet exist.

I totally agree here. There is still room for refining, but all together it seems that the market is mature enough for ICNX.
What remains unclear to me is how ICNX will handle temporary pumps from one of those mature coins.
Let's look at Monero, as the latest example:
Monero trading price was between 0.5$ and shy of 2$ from Jan 2015 till Aug 2016, and then it went up ~6x in one month. The main reason for that pump did not have much to do with breakthrough development, strong partnership or funding, but an announcement from few black markets that they will start accepting Monero as payment method, in addition to bitcoin.
What happened after the pump (until today) is steady price decline, which makes sense, since there is no real value (yet) for that 12-13$ price
How will ICNX address that? It will probably happen over and over again.

Also - how does Steem meet the index eligibility criteria for inclusion:
Quote
The currency must have an underlying concept which ICONOMI estimates as viable in the long term.

The steem power looks like a pyramid scheme to me and looking back at Steem as a project I don't really see it viable in the long run.
Can someone explain what is the reason for Steem to have 11% of ICNX?
