Keep in mind that Jaxx is an HD wallet (hierarchical deterministic) and will generate a new address every time funds are sent to the current address. All addresses generated from the same wallet can be used to receive funds, and all funds sent to any of these addresses will show up in your Jaxx balance. The balance you see on your main wallet screens represent the total sum between those addresses.

To be safe and keep things simple, use a static wallet like myetherwallet.

Well I am having serious problems with syncing Ethereum (yes, latest version of geth). I cannot see my balance anymore, wallet is totally screwed.

Myetherwallet is totally safe since it operate on the client-side. To be extra safe, you can use the off-line tab to generate operations such as sending custom token without exposing your private keys to internet. I personally use it all the time and never encountered an issue with it. A word of advise though: send small transactions to begin with Wink

yes, with google auth you can install on more than one device, and they even offer a chrome extension.
