No. They will wait all of the wire transfers, that is why they change the tokens send from 7 days to 10 days.

It is IOU Trading. The Exchange invested BTC in the ICO. After the ICO the exchange know how much ICN the exchange will get.
This ICN will come to trade in the Exchange.

After all of us get the ICN from the ICO the Exchange get it also and change the IOU Tokens to real ICN.

Thats the way it works

They do the same with Decent (DCT COIN) and it works great.

the ETH address you give Iconomi.net will be the one recieving everything, unless you transfer the ICN to another ETH address, then it gets the dividends... So the exchanges can potentially keep the dividends? That's not good for trading, because who's going to want to keep their coins at an exchange.

Anyways, I think exchanges are going to figure out a way of splitting the dividends to ICN token holders.
Definitely doable, just look at what they did with the ETC distribution to ETH holders.
