The site is now working, there is still some delay but when I press the reset button everything is working fine.
Unfortunately the price does not change when I change units from K,BTC,m,u So I think you need some adjustments.
In general, it is good that there are no ads, but I wonder why you chose Pnnv.com?

The price works now Smiley But the number of decimals needs some work.

Example:
I type: 0.258 BTC
I get 5,541.488399999999 USD (too many decimals).

I type 25 USD
I get 0.001 BTC (not enough decimals).

Yes mate!

Working on that as well, thank you for checking up again!

It seems that I was able to access preev with this price:

But probably in my local cache though,  Cheesy because the price is not updated.

However, when I try to access to access https://pnnv.com/ right now, it seems to be down? Anyone experiencing the same issue or it is just me? (I also tested it to other browsers).

Hey the more the merrier! Your site doesn't work for me at the moment though?

I made my own preev.com alternative when it recently started becoming unreliable, originally posted it in collectibles and just posted here yesterday.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-coolstorageorg-real-time-btcusd-conversion-app-since-preevcom-is-down-5410693

Once you iron the bugs out, feel free to use my key-less api as a backup weighted price source if you'd like  Cheesy

Kudos to you for the effort, however, it doesn't seem to be working properly. As others have already mentioned, it's showing the wrong price, at $20.000. As you've already mentioned, your developer is already working on it, but that's not my main concern.

The conversion from dollars to BTC isn't working. For instance, if I want to see how much Bitcoin I can get for $100, it displays nothing. I didn't see any of the previous posters mentioning it.

The domain is short indeed, but the lettering is a bit confusing. Everyone was used to Preev.com, examplens' Preev.net domain is almost identical to the original.

Edit: Tried again, always in incognito of course, and the price after a few attempts is displaying correctly. However, I can't seem to able to type any decimals, such as 0.08 BTC.

My developer told me he already fixed the problem with the 20K default.
I checked the website and had the same issue with the $20k and as mentioned, the value was fixed after refreshing the page but it is still confusing since the value turned later to $20k again.
First impressions, the site is simple and should be easy to remember, I prefer to see some major altcoins too.
Keep up the good work Smiley

Seems like Bitstamp's API request keeps failing (due to CORS?), which is why the price gets stuck in the $20k.

Quote
Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://www.bitstamp.net/api/v2/ticker/btcusd' from origin 'https://pnnv.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

GET https://www.bitstamp.net/api/v2/ticker/btcusd net::ERR_FAILED 200

Eventually, it goes through and the price shows up correctly.

Slava Ukraini!
I tried few different browsers on different devices and in all cases I got $20k price. It can't be caching issue. Chrome on mobile, Firefox on PC.
And as said above, night mode for such kind of websites is must have thing. And domain is short, but maybe not easiest to remember.
1. Your website looks pretty much exactly like preev did. While I don't mind, you may run into copyright issues.
Very similar, but not exactly same. Copyrights is tricky thing sometimes, but in this case, I doubt that OP may get problems.

2. After it ran well for a first look, no matter what I do (closed tab and opened new one), I see only 20k price. Firefox.

Good luck!

Could you please try to clear cache and restart? It seems i can't recreate the problem.
I cleared cache, used different web browser and price is always the same 20,000 USD, so it's most likely problem from your side.
I see in settings there is option to select Binance and Bitstamp and they are both unchecked, but if I select them nothing changes.
What default API sources are you exactly using to get correct up to date Bitcoin price?

PS
There is alternative made by other forum member examplens, and it works fine with coingecko api:
https://preev.net/

It's been tested on Safari, Chrome, Firefox it's all working well except for TOR.
I directly connect with binance and bitstamp with API - my developer will add much more resources.

As for preev.net, I wish him all the best you're free to use anything you like!

Great initiative, agentF.  Even if Preev comes back online, it's good to have and alternative option.  Especially one with SSL enabled.

I'm not a web developer, so this may be a silly question but I'm curious why are you using Java?

Hey DireWolfM14,

Thanks for your reply!

Personally, I'm not a developer as well, I'm running a company with many developers (around 80 different developers)

The official developer response is:

"we are not using java, primarily since java cannot run on the browser.
we are using react-js and the application does not have a backend at all"

Hope that it make sense to you mate!

I use Tor browser in Private Browsing mode, so there is no cache.

Oh yes!

I see the problem on TOR let me ask my developer to fix it!

Https-forward works now, but the Bitcoin price is still stuck at 20k.

You may confirm it via: https://pnnv.com/
Confirmed. But my browser didn't get forwarded there from pnnv.com, so that's something to add.

I also see the 1 BTC = 20,000 USD value, and refreshing doesn't correct it.

It should be fixed by now. kindly confirm, it's always a pleasure to see you around.

This time I will listen to the community's feedback and suggestions to improve the overall experience.

Few suggestion,
1. Please use HTTPS.
2. Add satoshi unit.

Hey!

Satoshi unit will be added shoertly!

Kudos for the domain name and the project, i need an easy to use AND easy to remember source that gives me a weighted average (and i need it multiple times per day).

I agree with ETFbitcoin: we (I) need the satoshi unit, even more than the other units you have listed.

I started playing with the sources and switching between USD and EUR... Suddenly i ended up in a situation where 1 BTC was exactly 20.000 USD, and exactly 20.000 euro... And the only thing i could do to "fix" the issue was refreshing the complete page.. Is 20.000 EUR-USD/BTC some kind of default value you hard coded in case something goes wrong?

Also, it seems like the anchors at the bottom (for example: Bitcoin to gold) are missing... Maybe delete them?

Noted will be take cared. My developer told me he already fixed the problem with the 20K default.
