Hi guys.. any idea why my synch is stucked? I just installed the new wallter version and wanted to synch.. but it says 0 active connection and i have to synch the last 2 years.. will this move forward?

Please use the latest version
https://github.com/infinitecoin-project/infinitecoin/releases
After January 14, 2024 (block height 9849600 activates the new consensus), you cannot use outdated versions, otherwise your block data will be damaged. You need to delete the damaged block data and synchronize the block data from 0.
Note: Do not delete the wallet.dat file!

I was originally just a person who was enthusiastic about helping everyone master blockchain knowledge using the core wallet. Later, I became a community leader. Later, I was forced to become a developer because idiot developers will be bought.

I have these, although they are a little expensive, their performance is very good.

Welcome to mine IFC
I am the current IFC developer and the founder and developer of DOGM.
I don't want any mining pool or miner to monopolize mining IFC and DOGM.
And you can find IFC+DOGM+DOGE combined mining in many mining pools.

According to research, if mining pools merged mining DOGM, the probability of DOGE, LTC or IFC grabbing blocks will be greatly increased! ! !

I admit that my technology is not good, and I am still learning, but I have maintained the Infinitecoin blockchain for more than 6 years, from core code to Android code to p2pool mining pool code to yiimp mining pool code to explorer code to bip39 code and even I also researched how to make mining machines silent, and have built more than 200 silent L3+ mining machines. I require each person to purchase only one. I think Infinitecoin is worth doing. Infinitecoin will definitely attract more elites with technology, capital and resources to join in the future.

Infinitecoin is an open source cryptocurrency founded on June 5, 2013 and publicly released on bitcointalk and github. It initially adopted the block reward rules of Bitcoin and Litecoin, with a fixed maximum total amount of 90.6 billion, algorithm Scrypt, and block time of 30 Second. However, premature loss of block rewards faces death threats. Infinitecoin was born a few months earlier than Dogecoin, but now Infinitecoin is completely unable to compare with Dogecoin. In fact, Infinitecoin has proven to be a failure by fixing the maximum total amount and losing block rewards prematurely.

September 22, 2022, Infinitecoin tried to implement a reform plan with a fixed block reward of 1,000 IFC, but the results were minimal.

January 14, 2024, the final reform plan was implemented under the consensus of the majority of the community. The block reward from 20,000 IFC to 10,000 IFC and final to 5,000 IFC. The block reward halved about 2 years. The final block reward is always fixed at 5,000 IFC.

1. Infinitecoin is preparing to equal the total supply of Dogecoin about 4 years to ensure that the market has enough coins for transactions.

2.The is to ensure the block reward will always be the same as Dogecoin, DOGE:1440X10000=IFC:2880X5000, but Infinitecoin is POW and Dogecoin is AUXPOW. This change in the block reward rules is inspired by the method used in Dogecoin.
