Well, hello everyone!

It has been a while since my last post here. As some members have previously stated, we maintain daily updates in Discord and Telegram so if you want fresh news about us, I do recommend you join the channels. We tend to reserve BTCTalk for mostly big updates.

First, I want to thank everyone who has been so kind as to provide updates here on our behalf, thank you for that!

ok, so around the time of my last post in May, we were close to launching, so what happened? Well, it turns out that our token was quite a bit more popular than we expected, especially in China, and this exposed us early to the concept of “the Brush”. We realized that while our mining concept worked in it’s intended original idea of serving the blockchain as a server, it did not work very well with mobile devices. But our green mining truly shines with mobile, so something had to be done to ensure that mobile would be first class citizens on our blockchain.

So, early summer, the team went back to the drawing board and during the last 6 months, we implemented a completely new, original and fully anonymous system which allows us to beat the Brush! We call this new idea the appointment system and it was successfully tested in a TESTNET we did a few weeks back. This system is fully anonymous and will allow good users to mine with peace of mind while keeping the bad guys out.

During one of our last testnets, which was not advertised save a few mentions in our 2 official channels, we received more than 22,000 unique Ips during the week that the test lasted. This is quite impressive for an early project, and I think that we can expect very fast growth once we go live!   And it is of course because of this immense growth potential that the team took it’s time to ensure that we could handle such load once in MAINNET. Our development takes time, but our modus operandi of our team is that things be well done. Quality over quantity with IUM, and we are willing to take the time it takes to do things right.

At this point in time, the code is now pretty much ready the team is taking care of all the last minute loose ends we can find as we prepare to go live to MAINNET.  The official launch date is not yet determined, but we do eye early December. The team will reconvene soon to determine the official dates and of course, we will make a public post once everything is decided.

Until then, we have to author a lot of user documentation, we have to update the white-paper, the website, etc. So we are now in the mainnet on-boarding phase.

So, the Neuralium [IUM] project is very healthy and launching VERY soon with some pretty revolutionary tech. The world is just about to change…

In the discord channel, the developer replied that the team has been really busy lately with preparing for the launch of mainnet and solving problems that arise with it. And he promised that he would definitely update the information in this thread in the next few days.

I don't know why you think so, on the discord channel I am a regular subscriber or what bots I do not own there. I write in this thread to at least somehow keep the community in understanding everything that is happening. I do not know why the developer does not write here, maybe he is just loaded with work now. You can subscribe to discord or telegram channel https://t.me/neuralium_chat and ask him questions there directly, for example, one of them @boufr (Frédéric), and not build inappropriate speculation here.

Bollocks this thread is now taken over by Daltonik, he also has a swarm of bots on discord which generate some activity in the aforementioned channel. Daltonik might as well be responsible for the lines u see above. He clearly controls the coin whilst the original developer remains uninvolved and still hurt by toxic intakes he takes. As regards main net, I doubt Daltonik will ever launch it.

I do not think that mainnet will be deployed this week, but the developer has clarified plans for preparing wallet releases for desktop and mobile systems. If you look at the messages in the discord channel, we see that the developer is actively preparing the software for the mainnet launch and promises, as I understand, on Saturday, perhaps the software for working with Neuralium in the main network will be finished. We will look forward to the mainnet launch and wish the developer success in launching.

Today, the developer in the discord channel reports that they are ready in terms of code and finished work on the release of the RC version of mainnet. there are still works before launching mainnet, making changes on the website and working out the necessary documentation. It seems that we have not such a long time to wait and mainnet Neuralium is already on the way.

the dev said theyve been working on this project for the past 3 years already. i think they are just taking their time in terms of development as there is no ICO nor premine, so they are not pressured to list this in exchanges or move fast in terms of devt.
if youre a follower  of their technology, dont expect that the mainnet will come sooner, as it may be delayed. you cant also push them as they are working according to their terms. maybe look for another project for the time being and just put this in your watchlist

This is an interesting project, I have not seen this approach for confirming work. Topic starter did not appear on the forum for quite a long time, the last time on may 20.
Is the main network already working? I will wait for November.

I got the same result, I installed the wallet for the first time.

For some reason, this topic is completely ignored by the developer, although in the discord channel it is quite active and declares an almost or extremely close start date for the mainnet Neuralium launch, which is pre-loaded for the month of November. I would like to hear here on the forum the main close tasks that the team is currently working on, I understand that they are overloaded with work, but this also needs to be done.

About a month ago I tried neuralium testnet, everything worked fine for me on my computer, my mobile phone had problems switching from a mobile network to wi-fi and back, today I decided to launch updated versions of clients for desktop and mobile phone and was frankly disappointed. On the desktop computer, all folders associated with the previous version and the account for the neuralium wallet were previously deleted, but after launching it, it does not offer to create a new account, and when I try to start the server, I get the message "The testing node expired.Please download a more recent version at https://www.neuralium.com"


As for the mobile phone version, I have on Android 10 after launching, I get the message "Please wait until the application finishes launching the necessary components" and nothing else happens.According to the developer, the release of the main network should occur at the end of November approximately, I think by this time will be produced

Hello Everyone!

well, the last week and a half has been intense to say the least. We are not quite sure how it happened, but we went viral in China last week. and since then, things have been crazy, for the best of course.

The Chinese have been kind enough to test our system and we found a few weak points against the "brush". The Neuralium team went back to the drawing board and we managed to invent an entirely new and innovative way to control the flood of users on the blockchain that is completely anonymous (no need for passports, phone numbers, KYC, etc), it is entirely decentralized, can not be ddossed and is completely controlled by code, as is the philosophy of blockchain.

so, the team decided to go back to the code and implement the changes that will make the Neuralium a true and unique new crypto that innovates and intelligently solves real problems of the blockchain. so stay tuned for a bit longer wait, but we will be back. we estimate that it will take a month, more or less. stay tuned for further updates.

we are still fine-tuning the math that will decide the emission rate; it will be fully defined before we go live on mainnet. one thing that is 100% sure though, the emission rate is constant per hour.

about he the discharge question im not sure I understand what you mean. I assume that you mean how to exchange tokens? well, for now there is OTC send/receive. in the future we will see how our ecosystem develops. hopefully some of the best exchanges will add us to their roster of tokens, but we have no money so we can't pay them. so, they will have to partner with us in order to be part of the future.

yes, we have a completely new algorithm that we invented that is called Proof of Election (POE). Since we invented it, it is completely new and we are the only token to have it. It works in a completely different way than every other algorithm and this is why it is the first algo that both truly works and is really green.

we ran multiple benchmarks on the mining on desktop and mobile phones, and the fully active and mining app takes no more drain on the battery than the average idle app. just a few days ago, somebody ran a benchmark and our app while actively mining was using 0.02% of battery per hour, just as much as mattermost (a chat software) on idle.

now I know there have been other green algos before, but they were all based on a very simple POW, which means that if anybody started mining on a powerful computer, the rate of emission of token was broken creating massive inflation and thus making the tokens useless.  In our case, our algorithm is exactly like BTC, in the sense that no matter how many miners, no matter what hardware they use, from a raspberry PI to a super computer or ASICS farm, the rate of emission will always remain constant. only the DIFF and variance will change to adjust to the topography of the network.

since we have been in testnet for a while now, plenty of people from the public have mined on desktop and mobile. letting the phones run all night and waking up the next morning with the battery just about where it would be if the phone had been left on and idle. it truly works!

LOL,  if you knew!  we launched our testnet in september 2019. all the people in the team have been waiting at least since then. the development has lasted more than 3 years! 

you need to know, this blockchain is completely new. it is 100% custom and coded from scratch. we did not fork from any other token, we started from an empty page.  so, build a fully working and stable p2p, with a new mining engine, cryptography, debugging it all is very time expensive, so you know, good things take time.

But, now we are near ready, and it is a UNIQUE crypto token, nothing else is like it.  and our blockchain is built to be customizable, meaning we can add really cool, native features in the future. the launch is JUST the start!
