Hello!  I'm not a code writer (sorry).  Is there an example or template of a "mine for me, please" splash page?  Individual on/off buttons plus individual indicator lights (mining is on, mining is off)?  I would like to place it on the strikepage for my web site...visitors must click a button to mine JSEcoin for me.

I would post an image of my ideal on/off display here, but I do not have enough reputation yet to post images.  :-)  I would make it look like the controls in a heavy manufacturing plant for a hoist or a conveyor belt.  Or maybe the controls for an AC to DC generator pair...that setup looks pretty cool also.

Hi Bitcash,

1) yes there is an API, full docs at https://jsecoin.com/api/

2) We have set a hard cap at 100,000,000. Total in circulation is currently 760,010. Total distribution is 1440 to publishers and 720 to self-miners per day.

Frostpik, we had to top up the distribution account after the final day of the pre-ICO funding round which is why there were jumps in the total coin cap.

This is a great project, a few questions:

1) Do you have an API on the way for developers?

2) what is the max amount of coins available?

Hi Cryptur, it depends really if the situation was legitimate or was someone setting up multiple accounts to try and game the system. This is the kind of situation we are trying to avoid because it is only one step away from the server farms.

yume91, you can try self-mining by setting up an account and using the mining page. Register here: https://platform.jsecoin.com/?lander=2

If someone would use multiple computers from the same network each with an individual platform mining account, would he be receiving penalties on his earnings or would he be rewarded like multiple individuals?

IE: Lets say a school wants to join and uses their computer room´s 30 PCs to mine in their idle time.

Hi Kangetech, ICO wont be until next year. We haven't set a date yet but have at least 3 months of dev work to do beforehand.

We are currently working on a new timeline and will upload this to https://jsecoin.com/timeline/ next week.

Thank you for the listing TrackICO.io, we will update the ICO information as soon as we set a date.

Cryptur, hash rates vary anything from 25hps on some old mobile devices to 10k+ on modern desktops. Once you go over 2k you will start to notice the difference it makes to earnings becomes less and less. This is to prevent extremely high powered hardware such as ASIC devices having an advantage.

Hi xyburcoin,

I would definitely try both Firefox and Chrome on a windows machine as we've had varying results depending on the hardware system. On Mac Safari is standard and works well.

Does the browser matter on mining jse coins?

Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc..

is it faster to use one than the other?

thanks
I heard somebody say Safari is best. I personally use Chrome and get fine hashrates

Hi Yellow Submarine, ICO hasn't started yet but I'm guessing you are talking about the Pre-ICO funding round which ends at midnight on Monday GMT.

Gameron, we have server side restrictions in place so that once you go above a certain hash rate you don't earn any more. This is to stop someone rigging up a high powered ASIC device or something like that and gaming the system. It's lottery based with a limit of one ticker per user per block @ 30 seconds.
