@KeyserSozeMC (and actually to anyone, who understands what I am talking about below
:
could you please explain me one strange thing? I am not an experienced miner, more of a newbie, just trying to understand some facts... Thought you could explain it, as an experienced altcoin pro
This is happening to many coins, not only KING, but it could be prominently seen on KING too:
There are two questions actually, closely tied together:
1. When I look at the network hashrate, then to all the pools mentioned in the OP, I see that the net hashrate is about 2-3 times bigger than the sum of hashrates on all pools together! I know that "yaamp.com" is mining KING too, but if I add their hashrate, the sum still much less (again 2-3 times!!!) than the "network hashrate" displayed at the dashboard of the pools. Does it mean someone with huge hashrate is mining solo..?
2. When I look at the "Blocks" statistics on all of the pools in the OP (the ones which use MPOS, are showing that), on ALL pools the "percentage" of shares (actually showing the luck of the pool) is way over 100% during the whole coin's PoW time. It is around (118% on suchpool, 141% on suprnova, around 110-120% elsewhere). It means the pool always spent about 20%-40% more shares than the difficulty requires? How that could be? I suppose this would be around 100%. If its 140%, it means that the pool is constantly unlucky..? Does it mean that there is another very lucky pool, which makes the coins always at around 80% of the probability..?
Again, this happens to many coins, but I thought I would ask you, as it is very visible on KING, and as you seem to be someone who understand how things work.
Sorry if I used some terms in a wrong way, I am still learning. Hope you would take a little time to explain this in brief.
