One of the devs in discord stated that they are still working on MN's. Also they are working on bug fixes that we will need to install before block 60k. Updates regarding that soon they said.

Agreed and they're not charging a listing fee at the moment either so why not apply? Even if the volume is low, it helps get the coin out there.

Need masternod ... In the meantime, collect donate for cryptopia or yobit. Contact these exchanges and find out the amount for listing.
Cryptopia is a medium-low exchange with decent volume but the problem is that, as far as I know, they got a 4-5 BTC fee (36.000 $).
I'm guessing the dev wants a low/fist exchange (remember no premine here) and I use/prefer stocks.exchange.
This exchange is good to start with because a lot of people checks there the new coins listed and begin to mine/trade and for sure they will invest in KMC because of no premine.
I know at least 1 coin that got listed for free at Cryptopia (and also CMC) because it had decent volume at stocks.exchange.

Im trade on mercatox stockexchange cryptopia. Ithink good choice. 
I would donate for cryptopia if dev needs some funding. But I would really like to have MN ready before so I can start mine and then maybe sell some of the remaining coins I have mined
