KOTO is a Japanese coin. Developer is not active on this forum, but is very active on other sites such as askmona.org and discourse.koto.cash (Official forum for KOTO). There is approximately 200+ miners mining KOTO at 4 different pools atm. The expectation for KOTO is still being discussed on askmona.org/8590 (Feel free to join in and talk!).
Hi, are you a miner of this coin? Nekonium is an ETH clone, Koto is a ZCash clone, the advantage of the Japanese coins is that the eastern community is very passionate! Which exchanges will Koto list in the future?

I am indeed a miner of this coin. This coin is currently being developed so there is no exchanges announced to list Koto.  Although Koto is a ZCash clone, it is using Yescrypt algorithm to mine (CPU Mining).

Good to hear that dev is active. I like Yescrypt.

Is KOTO a Japanese coin? Dev has not been active since December 13th! Is anyone mining this coin? Supply is interesting, the Japanese community usually protect their domestic coins, I'll be watching, what are the expectations for KOTO?

how to see more information completed from KOTO projects? I am very sure, if this is a good mining of coin KOTO.

but I do not see who the team made this project. seems i think details this project must update again.

Koto is made by an individual, not a team. The mining information of Koto can be seen in the wiki (http://koto.cswiki.jp/). We are currently discussing about how to use and develop this coin. We would greatly appreciate if everyone take part and discuss about Koto. askmona.org/8590

On the topic of the wallet, let me explain on how to launch it. I'll be talking about the Windows version.

You will need Java 7 and up to launch the wallet.

First, download the wallet from: https://github.com/koto-dev/koto/releases (Windows and Mac version can be found here.)

http://prntscr.com/hw8dxv

Second, run the .bat file located inside the folder.

http://prntscr.com/hw8egn

Wait for the download to finish then proceed to the next step.

Third, execute the WalletUI.jar .

http://prntscr.com/hw8fdy

The wallet should look like this:

https://prnt.sc/hw8gkc

And that's it!

Is there a reason why it re-syncs from the first block every time I reopen the kotod.exe?

Also is does everyone else's wallet use alot of CPU? I read that Zcash used to have this problem too.

I have gen=0 in .conf so not mining

With the windows wallet, did you run the init.bat file?

All the best!

k15uRTnhDoRs4JbE8kW2w2SxnvmBxbcMaNE
Yes I run it, maybe some one knows ports ?

I think, after init.bat you must start kotod.exe and after that execute wallet. I has same problem, but now wallet working well.
same err (

So try to execute koto-cli.exe and koto-tx.exe. and than maybe it will be working. I know that i executed all that files and now my wallet is working.

I am interested to know more about KOTO projects. But how can I get that information? I believe this is good for miners. But it would be better for the founder of the project to show who the team is working on. I hope the project will work. Good luck
