is minergate a good idea?
I don't really think so, but it was on the list, and we didn't remove, it's still  - not + Smiley We did not apply and personally I doubt they would add us anyway. The only reason I'd want such a big pool is raise of hashrate which is good. But only if it won't have the most of hashrate because I suspect it's the only pool that can really make some use of its prevail in hashrate  Wink

MinerGate is actually the second NiceHash. What for? For me it does not make any sense. We can actually put "+" for this bullet point having in mind that we've got NiceHash instead of MinerGate (attracted attention of high hash volumes).

I do not see in roadmap the first merchant accepting KRB.
It's there - called Payment Gate
now we need plugins for merchants, looking for ecommerce plugins developers

When does karbovanec start trading on the exchange of Poloniex or BTCE-exchange ?? This is the only exchange on which I had no problems.
BTCC withdraw LTC does not work. Bitfinex been hacked in January. On Ukrainian  exchanges there are no volumes.

Karbowanec Pool krb.cryptomine.pro
Consider Livecoin.net, we have not applied to Bittrex or other major exchanges because it's too early for us due to their delisting policies and minimum volume requirements. People were applying to Poloniex but personally I doubt they will list us since they delist a lot of coins already.

Poloniex is definitely not going to list Karbo. They just delisted about 20 coins and they only add Major projects that have huge trading volumes.
Bittrex seems a good option for the (near) future.

Karbo is already on 2 exchanges: Cryptopia and Livecoin. Which is already more than most new coins.

Also, Please do NOT even consider adding it to YOBIT, because that exchange is a total scam.

when comes the gui update?
Soon now after I almost finished OpenAlias support in simplewallet to move on to next tasks.

Under Windows works too but command line confirmation y/n is a little buggy.

Attention solo miners, if you use native karbowanecd,  please delete poolstate.bin before starting solo mining after the issues with wrong transactions.
And do update  to the latest ver. 1.4.1 please.

There was a little movement in that coin... Why is it so cheap? Mining is easy, is not it?
Metcalf's law.  This is a niche national cryptonote fork for Ukraine that is years in the making. It's already an excellent tool for Ukrainians to transfer value safely. I doubt the price on the exchange matters much to them.
Yes, we actually wish the price to be stable at some reasonable level. It has been on par with official national currenny i.e. 1 krb ~ 1 uah so we are almost content. We are targeting slow rise to 1$ however and actual usage of the coin by people and merchants, therefore we really prefer it to be stable.

Before us is road ahed in making of convenient tools for merchants and people, like long anticipated webwallet and payment gateway.

Coingecko is a coin database like coinmarketcap. I sent an email to them and they said they would list KRB there soon.  Grin

I'm used to seeing a message that says the blockchain is syncronized and its safe to open simplewallet.  I haven't seen that message, though I was able to open simplewallet without any errors. Is there a way to confirm that my blockchain is fully synced?

And probably no big deal, but the daemon shows this in the log every few minutes:

Quote
ERROR   Transaction has identical output indexes
ERROR   tx has a few inputs with identical keyimages

karbowanec v1.4.1.703 (a8a0b67)
Someone is trying to send invalid transaction, for example send money mined on fork or something. That one should reset his wallet.

And we have new open node for those who wants to run walleth through remote node, without downloading blockchain:
