Maybe a silly question...

At 22:40 Paris time the pool http://kds.minar.cc/ states Pool Hashrate 3.60 MH/s (6) and Net Hashrate 2.86 MH/s (5).
How can the pool hash rate be higher than the network hash rate? (btw http://kudoscrypto.org/ stated 3,344 kH/s) Huh
In my perception the pool should be part of the network.
What am I missing?

The network hashrate is calculated via the difficulty. Pool hashrates are actual speeds. So it's updated as the difficulty changes, and I think they change in maximum intervals. I might be wrong..

Also, with the little mining I've done with minar.cc, I've had good results.

My previous results with minar.cc where good also.

In that case I will jump aboard.

EDIT:
Got the information from the website, so no nodes needed, right? Wasn't mining yet.

EDIT2:
Now I am mining through your pool, not with much (yet), but better than nothing.

Hi
That is weird, maybe there was a caching issue i'll check it, as no one was mining these days i was not monitoring the site often, if it gets steady miners ill keep more than an eye on it Smiley

EDIT:
Always add this line to your config file:

Code:
addnode=kds.minar.cc
so you make sure you are synced against the pool, on low hash networks, forks are common, if some guy comes with 50mh it is prob that he takes the chain his way...

Excellent, sounds interesting, I will definitely keep an eye on it as I like this coin's fundamentals but it could do with some work and services to make it more popular.

Diamond in the rough hopefully!!

I'll be happy to help spread the word as and when...

Is there an active dev behind this coin?

A friend and I are working on a reannounce of Kudos that will include us developing Kudos and services for it.

Kudos seems to be gaining popularity after the ad on bitscraper went up. The hashrate is up to 3mh/s Cheesy

This coins has an official block explorer working atm http://kudoscrypto.org/
So it is a good idea to check against that to know we are all on the same chain.

The hashrate atm is ~1.5MH/s, none of them from the pool kds.minar.cc
So if you want some easy KDS join now and probably you will get them all.

Anyway, the pool is on the same chain as the explorer so everything should be fine.
I checked my balance and had like 7000KDS I didn't know I had! Thanks.

BTW: is this related: http://www.kudoscoins.com/ Huh?

EDIT: Check your account now, i have refreshed some statistics, some blocks were found but not accounted for. As no one was mining no alarm was sent..

That site is unrelated.

I checked my balance and had like 7000KDS I didn't know I had! Thanks.

I'm not sure what is going on but I am trying to mine on the minar.cc pool but not finding any blocks.  I represent a very large chunk of the network hashrate and haven't found anything after about 30 minutes.  There were blocks found by the pool just 3 days ago but something isn't right as of right now.  I mined some Kudos when it was first launched and was hoping to pick up some more, but I'm about to give up and move on to a coin that is actually functioning.

If you have that much hashrate, which we welcome, what stops you from solo mining? At this moment still doable.
