Is this the first ICONOMI clone?

very fast guys, congrats.

edit:

the web site looks like a big SCAM.

i think this is a big red flag like deClouds was.

I am a respected member of this community. My identity is known so I am putting my reputation on the line by supporting this project and announcing it. I can assure you there is no scam involved.
I dont really think you can assure people with only words, declouds was using a member with +30 trust and its a scam now, your account activity shows real activities about a year ago

Welcome to Kyoto, a decentralized derivatives platform on the Ethereum blockchain. Kyoto will allow anybody with an internet connection to hedge, trade, or bet on underlying assets such as crypto-currencies, stocks, and commodities. Kyoto is a set of smart contracts that will be hosted on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum user will be able to hedge the value of their Ether using Kyoto. The conception of Kyoto came from the desire to replace and fix the flaws of modern central exchanges.

With the recent shortcomings of many top level centralized exchanges, it has become increasingly apparent the need for an alternative.

You have to trust your money hasn't vanished and the exchanges and their operators are solvent. Many don't provide their users any possibility of audits or transparency. Often when audits are done, it is too late in events of security breaches. Furthermore centralized exchanges are susceptible to corruption by bad actors within.

With Kyoto traders will no longer have to rely on private closed source exchanges to trade conventional markets. Dishonest exchanges, bad actors, fund mismanagement, and other shortcomings of modern centralized exchanges will be a thing of the past. At launch Kyoto aims to provide its first derivative contract easily accessible within a modern browser. It will allow users to hedge against the price of BTC/USD using Ethereum as underlying collateral.

Making the platform as transparent as possible was high priority. Kyoto logs every deposit and withdrawal to the Ethereum blockchain. All unfilled and filled orders are made public and viewable along with the addresses that control them. Kyoto includes many other auditorial features.

A primary goal of Kyoto is to make interacting with smart contracts as user friendly as possible.

Many current smart contract implementations don't have usable user interfaces, leading to a lackluster experience for the end user. Anybody should be able to use smart contracts regardless of their technical background or expertise. Nobody should be required to use a command line to interact with a smart contract. We have implemented integration with MetaMask allowing anybody to use Kyoto in the comfort of their browser. That being said, Kyoto is fully usable with the Ethereum Mist Wallet.

Kyoto has been in development for the past year and is excited to show off its features and possibilities.

Kyoto plans to host a token sale. It will be based on the ERC20 Token Standard. More details will be announced soon.

We fully believe that decentralized services are the future. We believe the Kyoto platform will benefit all traders. This is a vision we have been working on for a long time coming. With the introduction of the Ethereum EVM, and the promise of its community, it has become a reality.
