Hi,

I am part of the Blocknet community and checking if LeoCoin would be compatible with the upcoming Blocknet decentralized exchange.

I was wondering if you support BIP65 (OP_checklocktimeverify) and have a bitcoin stock JSON RPC API?
If so, completely trustless atomic cross chain transactions with other coins are possible through the Blocknet DX.

Hi Boudesj, I have forwarded your question to our development team. I let you know asap.

We are currently testing the new Apps for Android and iPhone mobile phones. Please do not forget to convert your old mobile wallets with use of your PC/MAC, as the old and new mobile LEOpay wallets are not compatible and offer no migration function.

Why the website says "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" He is the developer of the coin but it shows red alert does it mean the coin is not safe to invest?

I am not the developer of LEOcoin, but the community manager from the LEOcoin Foundation. We do not trade in coins, so the warning is futile. It is given by a person that has a grudge against LEOcoin and abuses her power to give such warnings, as self-acclaimed  crypto-cop. The read alert, that you mention, is due to policy, but not based on proven facts. I carry it with pride, because on every ahead move we make, it shows how wrong, fundamentalist and biased this person is.

As LEOcoin Foundation, we give no advice on investments, but encourage you to do your own DD. This said, LEOcoin is on the market for three years now. We are a legitimate digital currency with our own blockchain and a loyal supporting community. We prefer not to be a hyped coin, but try to offer a stable price and to offer a good stake reward and decent technological features, like anonymous chat and stealth payments. For issues like Github source code, Market Cap, Exchanges with LEOcoin trading pairs, please see our first post or have a look at CoinMarketCap, that also mentions some sources.

The UPGRADE - LIVECOIN.NET

The Livecoin exchange already stopped all wallet functions (deposits, withdrawals) and they will migrate all the users coins that they hold, to the new LEOcoin protocol in the next 1-2 days. Afwerwards they continue their usual service. Trading is still possible, at fairly competitive prices actually.

Their message:

Dear clients, LEO deposit/withdrawal will be closed tomorrow due to swap provided by developer. We will swap clients' coins in the nearest days, no additional actions are reqiured from our clients. Please do not send coins to the old wallets, they will not be working tomorrow. We will not deposit old coins starting from tomorrow (20/06/2017). After the swap, we will open deposit/withdrawal.

   Did you contact tradesatoshi?

We have or will contact all exchanges that trade LEO-pairs and who are listed on CoinMarketCap and WorldCoinIndex. For details on tradesatoshi, please ask how far they are with the migration from the old to the new wallet.

Hi,
What about c-cex?
I do not see any swap announcement from them.

Thanks,
Dilkush

Dear LEOcoin users,

the UPGRADE has now started.

If you hold all of your LEOcoin on external exchanges like Livecoin, DABTC or LEOxChange, then you do not need to do anything. Your LEOcoin will be automatically upgraded.

If you hold any LEOcoin on an external desktop wallet or a mobile wallet, you need to download the new LEOcoin wallet. This new wallet is available for download at LEOcoin.org. Once you have a new wallet, you need to go to http://upgrade.leocoin.org/ and swap your old LEOcoin for new LEOcoin. You must complete this process by 21 July 2017. If you are finding this process difficult then simply load your LEOcoin onto an exchange that you trust, like LEOxChange or DABTC or Livecoin, and your coins will be Upgraded during that process. There are also guides available on LEOCoin.org.

For information about the Upgraded LEOcoin visit here:

The Upgraded public blockchain is here: http://insight.leocoin.org/

The Wallets are available here: http://www.leocoin.org/

You can see more updates on the LEOcoin Facebook page and other social media channels.

In the course of the coming weeks, we will gradually update the data in the first post on this thread.

C-cex will do a special form of UPGRADE that we are working on with them. At the end, they will have an actual V3 wallet with their users coins in it. We will and do assist all users and exchanges that wish to migrate their coins to the new wallet upgrade. Whether or not an exchange does want to function as an upgrade-portal or not and what they announce is up to them. Good is that C-cex will be part of the UPGRADE and also will keep trading their LEOcoin pairs after the UPGRADE. As LEOcoin Foundation, we are glad to have them. For specific questions (dates, procedures, etc,) please aks C-cex support.

So the next step would be just to transfer all Leocoins from the old wallet to a new one?

No, not entirely. Migration can be done on an exchange, where your deposited coins will be migrated into new ones, that you then can trade or withdraw into the new wallet. If you chose to do the migration yourself, you should (a) download the new wallet and let it synchronize; (b) make a new address and a back-up; (c) go to https://upgrade.leocoin.org/ and follow migration instructions there. The whole procedure does not take long, but if you wish to trade on an exchange after migration, please take care that they run the new wallet version too.

Anyway - it's a great thing to play with, loving the chat feature, really different for a wallet!

I don't get that error at all - I have active connections right now, and it took about 30mins to sync - did you download latest version from LEOcoin Website?

Also, the transition period has just started, it will end on 21 July, so during that time more people will be setting up nodes.

Yes, it was the latest version from the website. I've been waiting more than 24h, still 0 connections

Please contact support.
