Beside BTC I invested in different alt coins such as ETH, Maidsafe Coin, Iconomy and of course LEOcoin. with most of them to gain profit you have to trade on daily basis on different exchanges. But with LEOcoin you make profit with staking. Considering a stable USD price, an increasing trading volume and a rising community it is obviously a profitably investment. To someone with doubts I can just recommend:download the wallet, buy and stock at least 1000 coins (as long the price is still affordable) and start staking. you will be surprised, how it works...

You are total right!
But right now is best time in 2016 to stock real cheap LEOcoin!
You can now finally get 50k leocoin for only approx 25k €! And receive 20% pos! Real good offer!
You are right...the wallet is working great. With 20% a year and if the price is stable it is a good investment, but if (when) the price increas than it is a GREAT investment.

I wish all of you Happy new year and a higher price for LEOcoin Smiley

I know many people holding big stack of leocoins. Average price they bought it was around 0,4 usd per leo. The price went one day up to 2 usd but it is not real you could not sell your leocoins for that price. For now we can be happy that price is stable, we didn´t have big rise. Maybe we will have in 2017.

A few remarks:

a) in the first week of July 2016, also shortly after moving to a sole PoS coin creation mechanism, we had a price below 0,25€
b) in the first week of September 2016 we had a 6-month high of above 0,80€
c) this shows there is volatility, but as such price surges can arise when demand and supply differ and accordingly much or many coins are offered for trading, these surges can occur on low volume, which makes it pretty much incidental. The LEOcoin Foundation does not operate exchanges, so we cannot check what happened with that 2$ surge, but as just explained, surges in prices can occur naturally too, given a particular market situation.
d) a certain stability centering in the 0,45€-0,50€ range can be seen, which is good, as increasing your value - coins as store of value - with LEOcoin is not solely dependent on price rally's. The reason you already stated yourself, people are holding a stack of LEOcoin, in order to get stake reward
e) As stated earlier, not that many users will have the big stacks you speak about, but it is still possible to get a good number with current prices
f) those getting a decent stake reward, will likely not sell much, as this would lower their own value
g) simply staking at stable prices is thus not just 'parking' your cash, but a way to get more LEOcoin and thus more value

Anyone can calculate and see that LEOcoin indeed considerably went up in price and market capital in 2016, which is nice, but the real deal is in getting a proper stake reward and see a gradual price increase over time. We are working on that!

LEOcoin Foundation is building a community and we are glad with stable prices, then for LEOcoin holders, stable prices means stable stake rewards from 10%-20% annually, depending on the amount of LEOcoin in your wallet. Meanwhile we are planning and testing to add useful innovations to the blockchain, which will be in detail shared with the LEOcoin community in the first quarter of 2017. All taken together (Foundation and third party initiatives), the upcoming technical novelties, the finalizing of the US exchange licence, the debit card on LEOcoin, the growth of the LEO memberbase, gives us a good outlook for 2017. Please stay with us.

I remember about a month ago Leo jumped to $2 but next day dropped back. What was it?

Somebody buy bigger ammount only on 1 exchange and then move price up!
You can see that some exchanges have real expensive coins!
For excample! C-cex now offee approx 1300 leocoin for price 1.4btc and last price will be 0.003 btc its come close to 3$ since btc will be soon 1000$!
So if somebody buy there for 2btc then where will be last price 3$!

Also leobit have hight price!

Asi say with only 100-200btc buy support on all 8 exchanges 1 LEOcoin go over 1-2$ easy!

What about big players or big community start to support LEOcoin and few 10000 btc go into LEOcoin?!

Ok, I carefully checked the difference of the price. Now the price is around 0.0005 Btc.

As I see the price was higher in April 2016 - in 1,6 times than now (0,007-0,008 Btc). On July this year it was even in 2 times higher than now (0,001 Btc).

So the price actually decreases in my understanding.

24.12. 2015 price was 0.0004 btc x 450$ for btc its come 0.18$

I know in end of feb 2016 was around  0.10$!

Last year Eth jump from 0.9$ to 16-18$ till may!
LEOcoin rise from 0.10$ to 0.50$+....

When was it $0,1?? As far as I see it was always around $0.5 starting from the beginning

Look cmc chart! I buy 100k at price 0.067$ around 23. Feb 2016!
Plenty of my friends buy at 0.10-0.12$

Hi, everyone in this thread.

Is there a certain reason the price dropped to 0.448? I bought some Leo coins before, just curious

Christmass and new year time and some need money + a lot now sale alts to have Btc since price rise and they think they will make money!
But if you now sale 10.000 leocoin at 0.00005 btc you have now 5btc and later also btc!
But when later LEOcoin in Jan and Feb as all alts jump on 0.0008- 0.00010 btc you will be able to buy back only 5000 LEOcoins!

A lot altcoins now drop but later when btc rise will stop then alts jump!

Last year Eth jump from 0.9$ to 16-18$ till may!
LEOcoin rise from 0.10$ to 0.50$+....

I believe this year after all work LEOcoin devs do for LEOcoin price can easy jump from 0.45$ now to 3-5$ or even more! Can easy go to 10$!

You guys just need to think what all will offer LEOcoin after fork done and run 100%'!
I can say easy 10$ but its just me! Some say even more some say only 1$!
We will see! Time will tell everything!
But i am sure 2017 will be crazy good year for LEOcoin!

i have a legit question about this coin but i expect an answer from user "LEOcoin Foundation", "Cryptotraider16" is not able to continue a proper discussion and he is as predictable as my dog

on the LEOcoin Foundation signature is written:

"Roel N. de Leeuw B.ec
LEOcoin Foundation Community Manager
Account for donations in LEOcoin: LWddTAj1UkJxZPyobBrmuQZFCQN9VS8jq7"

i tried 2 different LEOcoin explorers to check the address LWddTAj1UkJxZPyobBrmuQZFCQN9VS8jq7:

http://explorer.leocoin.org/ (searching for the address i get: "Address not seen on the network")
http://blockchain.leocoin.org/ (here i get: Error! : Search found no results for: LWddTAj1UkJxZPyobBrmuQZFCQN9VS8jq7)

after those i tested other explorers with same results.

it's strange because those "explorers" officially belong to LEOcoin, if we check the domain whois history before the privacy guard we can find:

my questions are:

1. does the LEOcoin blockchain even exists?
2. why such a digital currency allegedly used all around the world has not even a working official explorer?
3. why the "community manager" is accepting donations to an address that does not even exist on the blockchain?

OMG, have you ever even used a crypto explorer before? Did you ever happen to check a legit address that just NEVER received anything yet?
Do you even know what a blockchain is and how it works?

Can't believe all the things I read in this forum from people who are 'half-taught' in crypto but they think they know everything. So many 'garbage' messages around...

@btc_zero_sum Please send 0.001 LEO to that address and check again.

hey smart ass! why so much hate? did i insult you or did i ask a legit question?

you can just ansewer: our explorer doesn't show addresses with 0 coins. easy.

and you are right, i cannot believe myself the shit i see on this boards  Roll Eyes

I never used words like 'ass, ' but you obviously like doing that. As about the 'hate' you mentioned, I am sorry, but this is how I reply to any biased messages like yours. You obviously tried to make LEOcoin and the community look bad with your message, and we had enough of hate here already.

This is a forum for LEOcoin enthusiasts, and we like to share interesting & positive info and news between us. I didn't notice you saying anywhere that you know little about crypto or anything similar, but your writing suggests something is 'strange' with LEOcoin.

So next time that you have questions and seeking for knowledge try to write your message in a better way and don't get 'angry' with replies like mine. Unless of course you want to escalate your view of 'shit' (I also never mentioned that) trying to show more that this forum is shit.

Try a polite and simple style, and most here will try to provide you with answers, I'm sure.
