Dear All,

only 10 days left until the Leocoin Foundation will be officially dissolved and will not exist any longer.

However, I have not seen any news on this and the transition to the DCF ?

Best wishes

According to the documents filed, Dan is waiting to be removed from the Exit Control List (ECL) in order for him to leave Pakistan. As said before, his work for the LEOcoin Foundation was never in jeopardy.

Yeah, true.

I still wished Dan and Mahir would be more aggressively in telling the world what is going on inside the two Foundations.
That would help tremendously Leocoin!
It is not a good idea to get important information only from third-party sources.

So the new name will be "Digital Currency Foundation" ?

Is that really a good idea when the main goal is to develop Leocoin ? I am not sure ....

Best wishes

On high-level meetings they need to use non-referring name. If they use LEOcoin name at these meatings, they could create FOMO around coin/project and this can leads to unnatural pump. Just my opinion.

Dear LeoCoin Foundation,

I just read that the Leocoin Foundation will be dissolved in 2 months.

Do I guess correctly that the Digital Currency Foundation will take over its job ?

Best wishes

Hello, my LEO coin is still stored in the V2.1.2.0 version of the wallet. How can I get the new version of the wallet and the new lEO coin? Thank you!

Hi and thanks. I am checking how to proceed, but I will reply to you with a solution shortly.

For now, you can already start with downloading and installing the current LEOcoin wallet, so this can synchronize with the blockchain. You will need the V3 wallet anyway, in order to receive your coins.

But back in 2016 we paid 40000 satoshi per LEOcoin, which is 20X lose against bitcoin in 2 years. This is huge.

True, and LEOcoin price did fall and rise several times since. In 2017 we saw even 60,000 sat. which some have used to sell off. That is the way with free traded crypto; the price is the result of supply and demand.

And many new coins and tokens - especially ICOs - did fall tremendously too this year; many even by 90% or more, and for that reason I pointed at this years LEOcoin performance. Otherwise, I am of course well aware that the LEOcoin price is not very high. At least, not there where we would like to see it, so we keep on working. General market, economy and crypto developments, we cannot change. If BTC falls, all fall. It is a pity, but it is what it is.

Do you know that Mihir Magudia, managing director at LEOcoin Foundation has brother, who is head of business development at Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC)? PIC value in all asset portfolio is more than 27 bilion gbp.

No, I did not know and cannot verify or deny this. If true, it only shows, that he is from a good background and has a hard working and intelligent brother.

All market is capitulating. Maybe becouse of the bitcoin, maybe not. But one is true, price of bitcoin has an impact on tokens price. What will LEOcoin Foundation do for stable their coin. Link its price with bitcoin isnt a good and smart deal.

We have not linked the LEOcoin price with any currency. In fact, the LEOcoin Foundation is not operating any exchanges, so the base pairs that are traded by third parties are theirs to choose. Most exchanges would list any digital currency or token against BTC or ETH, so LEOcoin being traded against these pairs is simply common praxis.

And, personally, I do not see markets capitulating. Many parties have joined the crypto train in the 2015/2017 period and now take profits. Also the many ICO projects that have been paid for their tokens with bitcoin and ether, are now rumoured to be dumping - i.e. taking profit. Profit taking is a normal praxis, particularly when people need liquidity when stock markets are falling into bear territory.

Considering the market decline, I hope that you notice how relatively well LEOcoin is actually doing with regard to price stability. At the start of the year, LEOcoin was at 1691 sat. and today we are at 2009 sat. And with 20% stake for large wallets over 50,000 LEOcoin, we do offer relatively good rewards, compared to many other tokens.
