But yeah with consensus between the miners and signing of the so-called treaty, will be nice to see how SegWit performs on Bitcoin's little brother.

That means all the main Litecoin mining pools are now signalling SegWit.

The amount of hashrate ViaBTC needs to stop segwit is enormous and unlikely to be possible for them in 24h to do that. So no worries about ViaBTC, more worries for any other pool to stop signalling for any reason.

The third-largest altcoin, Litecoin, has skyrocketed in value as Segregated Witness (SegWit) activation seems all but inevitable.
Data from CoinMarketCap shows the price per coin to have reached $14.40 in the 24 hours from Sunday to Monday - a new multi-year high. In the previous weeks, prices had surpassed $10 for the first time since 2014.
As of press time, the asset was trading at around $13.50. Other sources saw Litecoin trade closer to $17, leading creator Charlie Lee to repost this celebratory announcement via Twitter on Saturday.More

Every single market resisted at some floor by sitting tightly before next ride to the moon. Litecoin has been very good so far and there are voices what are calling the price to be at 20$ at least in short period of time. The current market behavior seems unpredictable and it will just boom at sudden. This is how I am watching this right now.

LTC after segwit, LN and coinbase deserves to be in top 3 crypto coins. At the most optimistic way it could be second after bitcoin, but more realistic scenario that it will be very close to ethereum by market cap. So the price of LTC will be between 0,044 and 0.77 of BTC
there are still a few days before full implementation of segwit, let's wait and see what will happen then. but surely the price will keep going up these days.
