LTC is in great shape esp now when ASICs came. this means more people will buy machines DIRECT for LTC not GPUs and will back its price like this - same as it was with BTC.
i was into BTC in era of GPUs and it costed pennies then - 1-5$ up to 20-30$. LTC has fallen yesterday - that happends. i was one of lucky guys who got on btc-e BTC for 200$ aroudn 2 months ago whiel there was 5 minute dump to 100$.
so just chill out, promote LTC and keep collecting. this is for long run not small day-trading.

To be honest, people should be AMAZED that there isnt more of a downward trend with LTC with the amount being dumped on the markets.
