longcoind looks for longcoin.conf not in the system directories but in the current working directory.
Best way is specify the option -conf=/Full path/longcoin.conf when starting
If this option is specified, then the path to the data directory with the wallet can be written in longcoin.conf

You can update your wallets by copying the data directory of the old wallet to the new wallet directory and deleting the /data/fee_estimates.dat and /data/banlist.dat files before starting.
