Hey minerjoen,

The external storage (media folder) permission are there because in earlier versions of the app that's where the coinz were stored.
Now the coins are stored on the internal storage.
We will revise the permissions in the next update which will hopefully be before the end of 2014.

There is nothing to worry about the media folder permission because we only used that for coin storage.
We might use the external storage permission in the future for sending the coins via files.

Hey Odd Thomas,

There is no potential for damaging the device by running the MangoCoinz app on it.
Because the app doesn't use the CPU for mining there is no excess heat generated, because there are no CPU intensive tasks running.

Your phone won't get fried from using the MangoCoinz app miner.
The app uses the accelerometer sensor and not the CPU to mine, so don't worry about your phone getting too hot and melting.
