What's the price gonna be for the service. Is it a "GINcoin" kind of fee, like (qouted from gincoin platform):
Quote
0.5 USD in GIN will be deducted from your account balance daily for the platform hosting fee
This would mean that a hosted MN would only be feasible when daily income would be 0.5+ USD.

Would it be an idea to create a "home-node" (tear 4) kind of hosting using the wide address-space of home users? This way you could provide a 0,10 USD MN-hosting platform for the less-fortunate coins. Home users could buy a home-node (from MANO-store), fire it up @home, using upnp to make outside p2p access available.
Using a 50/50 split, the home-node gets 0,05/hosted MN, MANO platform gets 0,05 for the service.

Please don't shoot me, it's just an idea.......

I saw a response to you on this, and just wanted to clarify to make sure there are no misunderstandings. Masternodes start at $3.50 (Mano) and increase from that based on server requirements / complexity. So, I would assume there to be a fair amount of masternodes at $5. These would be the "base tier" nodes that don't have complex requirements - such as Gin, Alqo, Solaris and so on, but some may even be $10 (or more) if the server requirements demand it.

What's the price gonna be for the service.

Its 3.5 USD a month for a Mano masternode and 5 USD for all other and yes it will be paid in Mano.
I asked on Discord and was told  "something like vultr, you pay for use and nothing more" .

Perhaps the team doesn't want to share the code as yet?

Then why have a github at all? To make-believe pre-sale investors there is open-source development going on and after launch letting it idle because the money has been collected?

Nothing wrong with not going the open-source route, but it's more than a little odious to pretend to do so and then retract that.

Yeah but what would you expect man, I personally doesn't like it but ofc they not gonna come up with open source platform that would eventually open door for more competition in already competitive space.

Why would they?

Nothing about it is odious and no one retracted anything.  I'm not sure why you are so concerned with it.  MANO is taking all the right steps, staying true to all commitments to the community and about to launch the most advanced MN Hosting Platform anyone has ever seen.  I am not sure why you are focused on all the wrong details, but we answered your question about github and that MANO is closed source, and now you want to suspect something odious?  Come on man, stop grasping for anything you can and open your eyes to the reality that MANO is here to stay, and here to change the MN scene!

The Revolutionary Mano Hose Platform & Shared MN Platforms are both in development, and at this time are not open source.  When the time comes, the Founders will decide when and how to release that information.  MANO Host and Shared platforms are both, never-before seen technology, so there is an interest in protecting it at this time.  The platform is being tested internally, and I, along with a handful of other community members are running Mano MN's successfully on the platform.  We are on track to release the working Beta product by the end of the month, and it was confirmed yesterday, publicly by the Founder of Mano, that we are on track to meet or beat that deadline. I also know that the Shared MN platform is being worked on, along with the back end of Node Monitor coming together.  Let's focus on the deadline at hand, and try not to worry about the updates you do/don't see on Github.  There have been many other improvements made along the way, as the team continues to work rigorously towards launch, and delivering on the commitments to the community. Kryptus is very serious about the community, and delivering on all promises to you!  That is his TOP priority, which is why we did the conference, revealed ourselves on Live Video, traveled to Panama to Incorporate MANO, and now he is back home delivering on his promise to bring Mano Host out for public consumption in the next 8 days.  We appreciate your questions and thirst for information, so please continue asking and stay tuned for the most amazing MN setup experience you have ever imagined!  It's the real deal!  Hope you have an awesome day!  OH - stay tuned for more Bounties and Promos...those are coming out later this week!!

Where is the relation between github updates and "One click Masternode services - End of this month (Not long now!)" ?

How would you implement something like a shared masternode service without code? Wishful thinking?

Open-source projects develop and publish code on gh. If a project does not push any code in over a months, I start asking myself if the founders already dropped it. Discord chatter doesn't give you working code. Easy as that.

I've just confirmed in the Discord - the platform will never be open source. It doesn't make sense to give away IP

Where you read about "Open-source project"+MANO platform? Just curious.

Perhaps the team doesn't want to share the code as yet? They don't need to. Other projects don't, and perhaps they don't want to give away IP to competitors. As an alpha tester I can tell you they do have a platform, and if you read in some of my replies you can see that they have already demonstrated this at BWC. At the end of the day, the platform will be out in days from now, so you can test the platform for yourself!

Jump on the discord at https://discord.gg/2whGVY3 . It's a pretty active place, and it's where all announcements are posted. I'm not sure how often the ANN gets looked at currently. The TL;DR of what's happening is that everything is still on track with the roadmap

If that is true, why wasn't the github updated since June 18th? If you want to be able to have "One click Masternode services - End of this month (Not long now!)", you better start coding  again, and fast. As much as I can see, till now all you did was fork an existing masternode coin, adjust some parameters, and build a web-site.

To me, this is quite concerning.

web-site.

Do you need github updates for https://mano.org/ too?
