Everything is looking good in the back-end from what I can see - we just haven't had the luck of solving a block yet

We've found quite a few blocks, but each round is taking almost 2 hours due to the low hash rate of the pool. Difficulty is still dropping slowly, now down to 4.79 and moving up the chart on coinchoose rapidly.

Massive hashrates have jumped in. Your pool is doing well over 9MH/s now. I can make it go just over 10, but then I can't do much on my computer myself

Remember - less pool workers may mean slower block finding - but typically bigger payouts (Luck factors in here too!)

The next release was focused on decentralizing by integrating p2p pools/mining directly into the client.
It would have prevented this and it would be a design benefit to all coins.
That feature has been pushed back for the patch to make sure this doesn't happen again.
If you choose to mine right now, a good choice is solo or on a smaller pool.
Many coins are at risk from this type of unscheduled event so the patch coming this weekend should be fine.
As for donations, those should only goto the dedicated miners and supporters of Megacoin.
