Never compromise your standards!

Lots of bad news today. Sad

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/sec-sends-inquiry-letters-hundreds-bitcoin-companies-unregistered-securities/

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/fincen-clarifies-virtual-currency-payment-systems-trading-platforms-money-transmitters/

Of course this is absolute nonsense, and reminds me of the approach taken by the music industry when the Internet came along. The government is using it's iron fist to protect fiat currency (they destroyed) at all cost. Terrorism, and illegal activity has become an excuse to dictate draconian laws.

On a positive note, time is on our side. The house of cards vs. the house of honest money.  Cool

Higher interest rates are on the way, and virtually guarantee a crypto rally.

The developer is still active and is about to release some major updates. He's been planning that for a while though, but he's waiting for the perfect time as timing is everything apparently.

Megacoin didn't fall, it's getting ready for the next jump

Around the end of October the gates should close Smiley

Are the gates still closing end of Oct ?

I believe the gates are shifting due to the sideways trading range of Bitcoin and Alt-coins in general. I have no idea what Kimoto is thinking at this point, but I'm sure he won't be pressured into releasing anything before the tea leaves predict success. Maybe we can get him to comment, but my feelings are that the gates are drifting towards a November close. Keep in mind this is just speculation on my part, and I could be completely wrong. In my opinion the longer this consolidation process takes, the more explosive the next rally will be...

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-price-dive-only-snorkeling/

"Summary

Potential targets below are $330, $300 and $290. There is no telling where the last corrective wave will end, so it is recommended that buyers wait for price to reverse to the upside and then buy BTC as price establishes above the successive way-points listed below.

Alternatively, apportion your capital so as to allow buying batches at the targets mentioned above.

Once price reverses to the upside, the way-points for advance are $368, $382 and then $400."

Could it be that he is working on a revolutionary new concept? Or is he working on something stupid like a marketing campaign...

So basically he just posts from time to time that he is working? He didn't give out any details?

Marty: Wait a minute, what are you doing, Doc?
Doc: (dumping the trash into Mr. Fusion) I need fuel. Go ahead, quick, get in the car.
Marty: No, no, no, Doc, I just got here, OK, Jennifer's here, we're gonna take the new truck for a spin.
Doc: Well, bring her along. This concerns her too.
Marty: Wait a minute, Doc. What are you talking about? What happens to us in the future? What do we become assholes or something?
Doc: No, no, no, no, no, Marty, both you and Jennifer turn out fine. It's about your coins Marty, Biff is at it again!

Well exactly where is this coming up? Where can I see for myself that Kimoto is still active and working?
Many people promise a lot of things, and many more never deliver.

Kimoto posts often enough to let everyone know he is still very active and working on projects. It's all about getting it right, and timing any code release for maximum effect. If anything it should give us more confidence, because coins that hurry to introduce features that fall short of their intent are very common. You can be sure that whatever projects Kimoto is working on will be unique, and done to perfection. At Megacoin's current price, it's a great opportunity for everyone because there is minimal risk, and the upside could be unlimited.

At least you are consistent at missing the point.  Success is almost always a combination of revolutionary concepts and marketing. Megacoin hasn't done enough to market it's revolutionary concepts, but I think Kimoto wants people to figure it out themselves for now. One thing is sure, no one is better at keeping a secret.  Grin

Well, Kimoto occasionally posts his cryptic messages on the Megacoin forum: https://forum.megacoin.co.nz/index.php

I'm sure he will deliver, though be patient. He has a path laid out and what he envisions exactly... Dunno. He's waiting for certain events that will create the best possible opportunity for what he has in mind.
