I had 3k MEC on my wallet (using default MEC wallet), but tried to send 1000 to cryptsy. The coins were removed from my wallet but havent appeared on cryptsy yet. I checked my address with http://coinplorer.com/MEC, and it gives me 3k balance on my wallet even wallet shows 2k. I have also triple checked that the address where I sent my coins was indeed the rightone cryptsy provides.
So I guess ill wait for a day and if it still isnt shown anywhere, I'll just replace wallet.dat with backuped one if it indeed was a client bug or something. Could this have happened if my computer was offline during the transaction as I read about something like this for some other coin?

And not only them, few other alts.
Does MGC has any block explorer couse I couldn't find one.

What will happen when MEC gets close to $1 and a lot of people will just dump their coins? Everyone investing will just be left with worthless coins
Come back when MΣC is selling for more than Bitcoin.
$1 is only a short term target.I know it is and i hope it goes way past $1 but lets be realistic here. A lot of people are holding numbers into the 100k of MEC, its inevitable that a lot will be dumped once we reach that dollar.
a lot of people did this with litecoin when it hit $3.50 first time
I know I did, then bought back in, held , dumped at $.50
finally had enough at $10, as that was my price, in other words I felt it was overpriced in my heart at that
now clearly I was wrong as has gone to $20+
point being there are only going to be 42 million megacoins, when you see what is happening in the community you would be falling over to buy and not sell for years. its THAT good
strong hands or weak hands, different people will sell at different prices. some day trade, some hold for long haul
if you sell you may never get back in, unless willing to sit in front of a computer screen 24/7
