Hmm - What version of stratum are you using?

I cannot see the line you refer to in mining/__init__.py

I'm using the moopless fork https://github.com/moopless/stratum-mining-litecoin.git

You sir are a gentleman! Thank you.  Smiley

Does it have some kind of vardiff?  The share diff keeps changing and I had a couple of disconnects.  Otherwise great!

why am I getting the phpinfo() page ever so often?

Because I have a POS vps, lol they are supposed to be looking at it, I complain like 10 times a day to them, anybody recommend a good vps provider?

wow yeah that phpinfo is incredibly bad on their part, you should get off them asap

Yeah, I just don't get it either, it works perfectly then like every 10 minutes the connection likes to drop out for 30-60 seconds then resumes, I'm pretty sure it's not on my end it will still do it with nothing running at all. I have sent multiple tickets and the issue still hasn't been resolved, any suggestions from other pool ops?

Would you mind sharing how you got it working?

Yeah sure, this would be for stratum, haven't looked at pushpool

in mining/ __init__.py
line 44
Code:
#if result['version'] == 1: #old
if result['version'] == 2:  #new

in lib/bitcoin_rpc.py
line 43
Code:
#resp = (yield self._call('getblocktemplate', [{'mode': 'submit', 'data': block_hex}]))  #old
resp = (yield self._call('submitblock', [block_hex,]))  # new

So is https://github.com/Alltimed/Megacoin the correct code?

No, this is just the original source so it can be looked at since he didn't put it on GIT.

The updated client is now on the first page.

Important Changes:
* CPU Fix
* Port Changes - Now allowing litecoin users to play!  Wink
Hahahaha remember a few days ago when you said using the same ports as litecoin wasn't an issue? Fucking amateur.

By changing them this late in the game you've basically hardforked your network without any notice. Good job! You win the award for the most shortsighted ''dev'' on this forum

Thanks for the helpful and insightful comments, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we really do appreciate your visits to threads for coins that you have not created.

+1

Thanks frobley and dubs.  I still said its not an issue.  I had said I wanted a different kind of user base, and temporarily blocking users of a major alt coin helped with that.  This is not late in the game. Only if it were a dump coin it would be.

one question, when can we expect that script coded for a payment processor for megacoin?
