These types of projects generate a lot of mistrust, because connecting something so noble to something virtual is complex! When people take advantage of other people's innocence, it really becomes a problem! Medic Coin could be a great coin, the dev was very greedy in his actions! That's why GRC has a long life.

If you’re unfamiliar with how to build a masternode but would love to give it a try then luckily Medic Coin have created the most comprehensive guide I’ve seen to date. Follow it step by step and you shouldn’t have any problems. I recommend using Digital Ocean, and a cheap $5 droplet, but there are many choices out there. Please use common sense though, a very basic understanding of Linux, how to use shell access, and command line prompts are a bit of a must! If not, go away and learn about them like I had to — there’s plenty of free information out there. Or ask question here, dev team is very responsive.
Or much easier - join an official shared masternode and get the admin team to set it up for you, and you don't have to worry about the running of it or any downtime. You also don't need the full 200k coins to make a MN if you join the shared scheme either which is a massive benefit for little fish like me

I heard somewhere that it's now in beta but not sure the release date of stable version. May be next weeks. I'm so excited to see how it works.

Yes, you can earn folding coin at the same time as medic
According to my calculations you can earn a bit more doing medic+fldc folding currently compared with doing cure+fldc folding
As medic becomes more popular I think this will change (unless the base reward of 1999 medics a day is changed) so for now I am making the most of it
