MEDIC has a signature bounty program but currently not accepting more Jr. members. Thank you for your interest. Maybe the main dev has more bounty program he can think of.

No there's no auction for a MN. You just need to accumulate 200k Medic coins by buy on exchanges (btc-alpha or cryptobridge are good options) or you can 'mine' them by joining the folding@home team

However, you can also just join a shared masternode if you want. Think the minimum is 30k coins and you get a proportional share of the shared MN.
