A script to restart the daemon when this happens would be very handy.

A very simple script, I hope can help you :

write it into the file /etc/crontab
Code:
*/1 * * * * root /bin/ps -ef|grep -v grep|grep memorycoind >/dev/null || /usr/local/bin/memorycoind -daemon

change name of process and/or path about your installation

Now I'm getting this funny error

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl >'
  what():  boost::thread_resource_error: Resource temporarily unavailable

Some of us have been encountering this error since launch. (Ubuntu 13.04 x64 here.)

A script to restart the daemon when this happens would be very handy.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"
Okay. Flash Fork at 607 - github updated. Binaries available shortly.

Binaries available. The Kimoto Gravity Well has us now.

I would suggest to add the sufix so we all know the memorycoin.zip is updated.
Something like memorycoin_ => memorycoin_08530.zip

FINALLY got the new forked code to sync back up with network.  I had to delete everything in the appfolder (except wallet of course) and then it's been fine and dandy

Vod is a liar
It would be helpful if people would start doing some sort of give aways to keep lifeblood in this coin and get more threads going about it.

Bitcoin - love & hate
The new windows wallet allways crashes after startup screen.
The old fork worked flawless.

Need to delete the config files in appdata/roaming?

So one of the votes is for charity... Is this intended for actual charitable foundations like fighting cancer or foreign aid that might at some time in the future accept MMC? At the moment it looks like it hasn't even been voted on. If someone sets up a faucet (to help promote MMC) could that be voted for as a charity, thereby supplying the faucet with a steady stream of coins to give out?

Seriously...

$ bitcoind getinfo
{
    "version" : 85400,
    "protocolversion" : 70001,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 642,
    "timeoffset" : -2,
    "connections" : 7,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 0.00000097,
    "testnet" : false,

    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,

}

I just pulled from Git an hour ago and recompiled... this is the wrong fork? Been stuck on 642 for a while.

You can do this to make sure you land on the right fork: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4024975
