I am pushing through posts for weeks now to pursue Dev to get his communication act together. I don't buy the bsht that he doesn't owe us anything as once this coin went on exchanges it became his responsibility as well to manage this like an enterprise. Sure that he works an the tech site of things no doubt but he needs to look after the investors as well. If he feels not up to this task then it's time to appoint someone how does. Having auto mining is not a purpose but a tool to supply coins to the market without hashpower to do so. These mined coins could be rare if the demand was high. Keep calm dudes  . This coin is still very young. I really love what this coin can do and the road map. Selling coins outside of exchanges really helps in promoting it.

I agree. The dev is too silent for my likings. If I wasn't a bagholder I would never be interested in it, because I couldn't be arsed. A talking dev, creating and feeding enthusiasm is needed.

On the contrary.

MNE has to explode on all exchanges in order to sustain a healthy market. No investor wants to buy tokens from you which were produced with zero effort when you are a genisis holder. If there is not substantial 24h-trade volume and equal supply and demand, you will just feed genisis holders free money.

Thats why the dev wants to burn so many MNE tokens. There are simply too many generated daily for this small market.


Besides, i don't really get all the fuzz about this dubious MNEv2. Its just another token which is completely cut off from MNEv1. MNEv1 has its uniqueness : Token creation service. What will MNEv2 have?
Maybe it will be just the same as with MNEv1: Selling off.

I think it would be really great if Dev involved the community a little more before the release of MNE2. I would like to se a votation to se peoples opinion about what a genesis adress should cost to buy!

I agree. Theres a reason why tech startups go under all the time; a company needs social media presence, it needs marketing and targetted ads, it needs a team to broadcast their product to the world. If the devs are only taking care of the technical aspect, they'll end up with a great product no one cares about, which will render its value to absolutely zero

Tell that to the genesis holders:-) I hold but need reassurance that this coin moves ahead from being a toy to something that is professionally managed. It's like a company that acts on a clear vision and has objectives that exceed that of just being around.
It's a tough world out there and there will be some Alts that won't survive. Mne can be the one that stays for long it has to be managed properly. I am willing to contribute to it can we just agree that there must be some improvement on the management part of it while Dev takes care of the technical stuff

There are many ways to support the market and most easiest for many people to stop selling for a while when it is down to prevent the significant decline in value. If you learn to hold and wait with fresh updates always markets react positively. If you don't sell at any price desperately some buyers will also appear to help the price to be sustained at high.

nice attitude, good luck during you deep dive to non existence. Nobody cares anymore for this coin because of supporters like you and some serious lack of any form of marketing. In a couple of weeks it will disappear from the coinmarketcap ranking and you can continue mining for a couple of cts if that makes you have. You don't get it that it needs new investors to gain traction and value. Without that it's just a bunch of genesis holders have their own little private tea party.

As many of you may know, my Myetherwallett account was hacked last month. The hacker drained my entire account, stealing all of my crypto tokens from my wallet, leaving me with an 80% portfolio loss.

Rage does not come close to how I've been feeling about this whole thing!

Minereum is a self mining contract, so there is no way of me being able to change my private key, and take steps to stop him/her from taking all that is left in the wallet, making daily withdrawals, presumably via some sort of auto withdrawal bot that deposits the minimum amount of GAS required into the wallet to extract the daily MNE that is self mined into the address.

I would like to give my private key away here, so that somebody else, other than this bastard scumbag, can profit from it, instead. The thought of this hacker getting even 0.0001 more MNE from my account, makes my feel angry as fuck.

First... i was happy when i bought at 0,30$ or something.

But the Problem is, that there are genesis adress owners which get
Minereum for free. Their whole life. All of these people are very happy. Absolutely understandable.
And i think there are a lot of them writing in this thread actually.

And that is the Point, why the price is decreasing that much. The Idea of
these genesis adresses are maybe good, but what would you think, as an new Investor
when you have a wall of 4269 genesis adress holders and YOU can not mine
these coin? Each of these adresses hold 32.000 MNE (136.608.000)
And actually there are only 45.000 MNE
for Sale on Livecoin. That´s what all genesis adresses produce in only 11 days.
Do you think, if you are a big investor, that you put millions in this project? I wouldn´t!
And in addition, it is not possible without an exploding price when you buy!  

It is a very honorable way from the dev, but for a lot of people, it seems very surreal,
because you have a risk by investing, when you can only buy MNE and about 4000
People with the whole stack have no risk. they sell to low, no problem, some times
later after their wallet has filled up with MNE, they can sell again.

Sorry, but that is the truth.

I read a lot about this project the last weeks and I'm still accumulating MNEs for that ridiculous value.
IMO it will definitely pump as soon as MNE2 is out in crypto space.

Ok, I need to vent cos this extreme whining on the last few pages is quite irritating.
  If you received MNE for free and is one of those complaining about the price or lack of marketing, you should seriously suck a huge one and make sure to swallow while you at it.
If marketing is an issue, how about you sell some of those coins you got for free and help out the dev/product with some marketing fees. However, if you complaining cos you bought of the market high and the price dumped, welcome to the crypto world, where you can be a millionaire today and a pauper tomorrow. You took a gamble and lost. Happens to the best of us. All the whining is unnecessary cos the dev owes you absolutely nothing. This was done without ico or ipo. totally freely distrubuted, and achieved a feat impossible for most alts.
