I Believe Minereum’s Future is Bright
When many of us first became supporters of Minereum we were taking a gamble. To many of us there were almost as many reasons to view Minereum as a scamcoin as there were to believe it was legitimate. With the release of the first version of the token creation service and continued developer engagement in the Bitcoin Talk thread, our concerns have largely been put at bay. The developers continue to follow through on promises, the first service has come to fruition. The smart contract self-mining process is working flawlessly and the price continues to climb at a steady rate (despite the Llamas, I mean whales in the sea).
Since the developers have followed through every step along the way and presumably have a stake in the project, we can be sure they are going to continue making the Minereum project great. They aren’t only keeping their promises, they are going above and beyond. For these reasons I think it is clear that not only will they follow through on their future promises, but also in the logical next steps of the project (which by the way, I would argue have been subtly promised through various means). Here are some imminent things we have to look forward to. They are on the horizon, we can practically see and touch them. Feel free to add more.
- ERC 23 Token Creation Service: The next generation of smart contract tokens (BTC Talk Announcement).
- Minereum World App (beta version): A way to gamify crypto and bring it to the world (BTC Talk Announcement).
- A nicer and simpler UI for the Token Creation Service. 2.0 (2.0 is implied by the fact that the first version was called 1.0)?
- A service to integrate the slow-release “self-mining” smart contract concept into created tokens, (in the road map).
- A marketing plan to showcase these services. (Side-note, the service isn’t complete yet, why market a half-baked product (also in the road map))?
- An updated White Paper, Road Map and website. This is a logical next step in the project and will probably be released all at the same time. Hence the wait as
these are three significant updates to be released all at once (not mentioned, but a necessity to be legitimate, and besides the developers have a history of not
acknowledging things that are about to come out).
- New exchanges. As the project continues to take shape and gain traction, exchanges are going to want to have Minereum listed. Exchanges don’t want to list
crappy coins as it tarnishes their reputation. Think about the exchanges that listed MNE first even though it had anonymous developers and a lack of a real world
use-case - do they have a great reputation? Patience guys, as Minereum continues to prove itself bigger exchanges will list (BTC Talk Announcement and this is
just how it goes).
The developers have been diligently working, they have done great work so far and they have given so many hints about what is in the pipe-line. If you can’t read that list and recognize the bright future of Minereum, then you may need to take your investments elsewhere. We are at the point of needing to be patient, but also to build up the community the best we can. Gilboa has down a great job at this (creating promo videos and giveaways, I think he made a signature a while back before the developers released theirs). Follow his lead or PM him and ask him for some ideas he has for Minereum, but that he doesn’t have time to work on.
Finally, stop asking patronizing questions. Of course the developers have a plan for marketing, of course they are doing everything they can to make the exchange happen, of course they know the website is a stock site anyone can use (they did make it after all). In due time you will be able to make some money on Minereum, but stop being so impatient. Stupid questions and patronizing comments only detract from the project and slow down it’s progress. The first part of being a strong community is getting behind our developers, viewing them as leaders and allowing them to do just that. So let’s do that. Also, stop shilling everywhere and making the project look so cheap. Remember that string of SCAM posts a few pages back? That was the result of some shilling and petty argument in the Bittrex slack channel, we don’t need that kind of negative attention.
I believe the future of Minereum is bright, but we need to be patient, support and trust our developers and strive to be innovative on our own. Let’s bring attention to Minereum, but not by shouting MINEREUM!, but by actually demonstrating how the token’s services benefit the world. Once we can do this, people will flock to Minereum.
I like every single word you wrote!
As I have always said, the key we need, it's only to be patient.
