Does look like a scam coin without any use except profiting the genesis wallet holders

Well, the dev is a hell of a scammer with all this effort and his money.

Well, he has a remark that is getting redundant.
I like Minereum and some of the features, but the genesis address seems unfair for a lot of people. Which is understandable.

It's not about dev efforts, but about the genesis address, don't missunderstand him.

You think giving to those that have is more fair, like giving Stellar or BTX or Byteball to BTC holders (which is extremely centralized)?

Everyone could've  obtained an address, even the little guys. Could it be fairer with a more widespread solution, yes. But I'm not sure if it would've been possible logistically.

Giving to those that have is unfair. ICOs being bought up by whales is unfair. This here, is the most fair system I have encountered thus far.

God I hope one day there will be a system that give 10 tokens to every single person on this planet, somehow. But if not possible, this Minereum is quite remarkable!

this has been already made like clams..It was a disaster..coin has been dip on exchange..any coin cant be equal because whale can collect it on exchange..MNE is a ecolo and equal mining..which avoids diping.

What if I sold?
Indeed that would be a great thing! Draft and maintain the list to proof that token creation is working and utilized

Do I understand it correctly that was an ICO for Minereum? And it almost wasn't advertised? Or I'm wrong?

there was no ICO, people simply made 5 accounts from different IP's and now are begging you to buy to drive the price up, because they will be able to dump on you for the next 47 years Grin

LOL! Great explanation! I like airdrops, I think it's great distribution method if everything is fair for participants! This is a big + for this project!

Now, I think something that would be good as a kind of advertisement or simply a proof that the service is working, what about a list of all the tokens created, where are the names, name od the token, supply, symbols, and description of the token, where one can put the purpose of it, one can put that is personal, put a link if they can or want, etc. so anybody can see that the project actually works, I would certanly want to know what the tokens are in the list, instead of just a bunch of addresses, the current list is useful for the ones that are in the process of creating their tokens, but for others is not so understandable, just a suggestion, Dev could implement it or we could create a thread that will list all the new tokens there.

Guys, a question about withdrawal: so I have to add/create the MNE token to MyEtherWallet, ok, but then, in order to move them from the exchange to my wallet do I have to use the Ethereum address? Is it correct?

The exchange has a MNE address, then you send your MNE from that address to your etherum address that is not a genesis address, all etherum address support any token created in the etherum network, so is ok to use your ehterum address as a wallet outside of livecoin.

I've decided to try a different method but is the Token Creation Service being manually done
because it's been stuck on 'In progress' on the list for some time now.

Also in the Generate Token window, I asked if the Amount to send is 0 or should it equal to
the tokensupply? Sorry I'm trying to learn this but also help other that aren't familiar with
this process.

There wasn't an ICO, the genesis addresses were given freely to the public, there was and airdrop, that is different.
This is true minnerium wasn't an ICO, and now MNE mining !

I think it will be better if you suggest or talk to a developer itself of a certain coin about the token creation service, it only takes one successful token made after MNE to make its foundation already very very solid. I hope that time comes sooner than later.

The token release functionality is creating that awareness itself.
Think about it, each ICO will expose itself to the mainstream community (has to since this is their business model right). Making this process easier and faster will enhance the rate of new applications on the blockchain and therefore the mainstream acceptance will increase rapidly.
Once the new app functionality is delivered the world could look quite different related to blockchains in general so it might be so that this developments horizon is just too long to be of any real benefit.

Minereum is fundamental for this development and should be advertised like this. This way the coin will attract the attention and recognition that it deserves and will proof it's value for the future.

Do you know by any chance how the addresses were obtained specifically? Having an address in your BTcointalk profile would've sufficed?

I'm especially fond of how the distribution is not related to any amount of tokens held, but solely by being an address holder.

I'm glad, this shouldn't be a punt & dump. It should be something real, and it is. I'm just sorry I couldn't be a part of this by being one of the address holders. That's the only thing I'm sorry about. I'm not sorry for not being able to flip this for a quick buck

Hi All Minereum supporters,

I have been following this coin for a week now and despite the ongoing development and announcements the crypto community seems not tempted to embrace this coin.
The exchange rate after the token release announcement went up but it came down in the same pace 2 days later so what has changed?

This coin appears not to be pumped and dumped so I expect that a lot of early Minereum supporters disembarked so in my opinion that's bad news.

Bringing this coin to a big exchange will probably result in another increase followed by a big decrease when other early supporters step out leaving this coin in the dungeons of the crypto line-up for quite some time until the next big announcement in 2018.

I assume this is not a good investment for 2017 and beyond unless some better PR is executed and I don't mean Pokemon go.

Bringing blockchains to mainstream is not a job for 1 single coin, the whole infrastructure will create this awareness

Please proof that I am wrong?

Well, I sort off agree when you say it is not up to 1 coin to bring crypto mainstream.

The pokemon thing is 1 feature for this. I could think of more. Like dropping hard wallets on some place. Every usb could have a certain crypto on it, with a wordpad on how to download it's wallet and even further instructions on how to join another "game" while using that wallet.
Again; a GPS game.

Many more to think off; using youtube for example. Or other populair media. Hell; even a normal Saturdays' newspaper could be used. Put in an add like 20% of a code in 5 different newspapers and let the public puzzle.

MNE is breaking the way of thinking on how to make 'it' popular: how to tickle the public's tits.

For that alone, and not being only nerds I tip my hat.
