Windows:

make a start.bat file:

start mountcoind.exe
start simplewallet.exe --wallet wallet.bin

*That is if your wallet exists already. you have to type something else if you need to generate a wallet.

type your password.

wait for wallet to sync and be fully up to date.

In the wallet type:

start_mining

It is the same instructions as mining Bytecoin or Monero so you can look up those instruction. MountCoin isn't a full clone. They have changed many things but kept mining instructions the same to help people do it.

Because this is a new thread there is no history of the two previous SOLO mined blocks that I got.

I took your advice and solo mined and found 5 blocks last night. That's a MUCH better return for me than what I was getting from the pools. I probably would have only gotten 2-3 coins from pools in the same time.

No that's not true, more users mine Solo than with a Pool, and we need to wait that the Difficulty sync, because there was an bug with the Old Version. The old Version had updated the Difficulty down after a block. That is also the reason why the Hashrate is not right we all need to wait a few weeks

This coin needs more eyes. Dev, where are the bounties? Tranlations, Logos, ect. There needs to be more community outreach if a bigger adoption is what is wanted for this coin
