It`s good to see that this coin is being listed on more exchanges, however cryptopia with its 1-2 BTC daily volume for MGO is not serious...

Cryptopia is not the right exchange for mobilego
i would consider atleast bittrex addition..
I guess we can forget about bittrex support.   Sad

Sooner or later they would have to add ERC223 support to their exchange because most of the new tokens that are currently being built on ETHEREUM are ERC223.
later i suppose. They don't seem to be in a hurry..

After losing 6 grand, all I had left was 400$ in GAME. I was just tired of losing so said screw it and pulled it all out.

O-M-G.

Yeah, All I had to do was say screw it and leave it there Sad

The biggest lesson is that you never dump a bag for dust. I would rather let a coin die with a bag and lose $100 than to dump that bag and live with regret of what could have been had I kept it, which could be significant. I know it is a harsh thing to say but it happens to everyone at one point or another where you make an emotional decision and that is how you learn. Unless you have the guts to be a day trader, buy stuff with reasonable prospects, park it and forget about it. Don't get emotional about price movements, don't sit and watch the graphs all day. Just park the coins and forget or maybe make ROI and park the rest.

I mean... It was a lot different back then. $400 meant a hell of a lot more than it does now. The Bitcoin and altcoin market has gone up hundreds of times since then. Most people in the game didn't have that much money to go around. Hell, when I had about $400 in crypto, I bought game at 5k sats. I'd have a solid profit if I hodl'd it, but I sold at 6k instead. And this guy was around ages before me.

True that. It once happened to me as well. That is where I vowed never to do that again. All the people that are complaining about the eMGO compatibility should be thankful that they are forced and prevented from making an emotional decision. Just hodl, hodl, hodl and in the event that it crashes move on.

A friend of mine bought around 4m PIECOIN right after their ICO when it dropped to 4 sat each. Came out to something like $200 USD at the time. It pumped-and-dumped, and I got out at a meager 400% profit while he just held on and said he was waiting for moon or bust. I thought he was crazy to hold instead of selling his bag for 700% profit. Then the price plummeted back down to 6 or 7 sat and all activity died. All of a sudden a few weeks ago PIE starts reviving, and today its worth 170 sat and his $200 is suddenly worth around $20k usd. Now he's laughing at me!

Moral of the story: Hodl or bust.

This is kind of a silly takeaway from everything that happened. If you rebought at 6-7 satoshis after taking your 700% profit you would've made off much better. Best strategy with pumping coins is to sell off in increments, that way you don't sell off prematurely or miss the top, even if it costs you a bit of potential profit.

Thanks man! I actually checked coinmarketcap and didn't see cryptopia on the list. They probably just haven't added it yet to the list. Cryptopia is becoming a good exchange and is gaining new users a lot. Hopefully this will boost MGO trading more.

I found out a few other sites/softwares with the same name MobileGo.  I am worried in the future that can affect this MobileGo with copyright issues, etc. (though those not relating to games).

Yeah true! Some already post here about mgo take his name etc 🙈🤕

This could turn out to be a problem, but doesn't necessarily have to.

53 milion $ can pay fee? ! 😜👍🏼🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyone at here can helps me this issue? I checked the price of MGO and see Waves Decentralized Exchange have good price than other exchange. But I can't find MGO in this exchange, is this exchange delisted MGO as Bittrex? I hope someone can helps me answer this question, thanks!

It is in DEX. Just look under Mobile Go Token with a greeen tickmark next to it.
Ok, I has been found it, but I have question how to send my MobileGo from MEW wallet to DEX? I don't see have MGO wallet for user in this exchange, or just can receive from distribuite of admin, is right?

You cannot do that. MyEtherWallet (MEW) is an Ethereum wallet. The tokens in the wallet were issued on the Eth chain. The version of the token on it for MobileGo (eMGO) is the Eth version. DEX on the otherhand is the distributed exchange exclusive to the Waves chain. All tokens traded on DEX ar tokens issued on the Waves chain. The version of MGO on waves is the Waves version (wMGO). The two chains are not compatible. The only way to trade non-Waves tokens on DEX is through a gateway between the other coin and a waves token. The devs did say that at some point they will make a tool to switch between the two chains but that is not in place yet.

Regarding the price difference, there will always be a difference in price between the exchanges until the devs build the gateway tool. Then normal market forces will quickly bring the prices in sync, especially if the ratio of 1:1 is programmed into the gateway.
Thanks for your explanation helps me receive more knowledge about ICOs project have 2 platform blockchain Waves and Ethereum as MobileGo. It very useful with me! Smiley

Wow waves actually has more volume than Liqui does.  looool, I guess I don't feel bad about getting the 50/50 split during the crowdsale now

can i trade my ethMGO there or only wave?

I think the easy answer is no, but hopefully someone else more informed here can correct me if im wrong?
With waves recently integrating ethereum, it's likely they could handle eMGO.

This is how I understand it and please correct me if I am wrong:

It is not as if non-Waves tokens can exist on the Waves platform. A corresponding Waves token is created and then there is a gateway that takes the non-Waves token and gives the Waves token in return and performs a translation service.

I have a bag of pears. You have a bag of apples. There is a market for people that want to eat pears and I am the only one that can give you pears. You give me an apple that I put in my bag for apples and I take one of my pears and give it to you in the pear market and you sell to the people that want to eat pears. When you want an apple again then You give me a pear and I take the apple from my bag and give you the apple. I am a gateway.

Sometimes gateways can be slow to perform the translation services. The BTC gateway takes ages and using another common token just becomes too complicated. I dont think DEX is ready for arb via gateways. If you can have positions and balances already prepared in both exchanges then you can arb and do delayed balance resets, if you dont have to rely on the performance of gateways.

I'll be honest here... I'm not sure wtf you're trying to say but it's making me hungry

It is pretty weird that MGO/BTC on Waves Decentralized Exchange is way higher than MGO/BTC on liqui today.

Sounds like an opportunity for arbitrage then. But be careful I remember sometime ago there was a fake MGO token in waves, don't fall for fakes.
