btw, now the ANN doesn't fit in 4:3, it has horizontal scrollbar below,
one may say not much of a trouble but nevertheless...
sorry, i forgot to mention 120dpi, any browser.
never mind, anybody mess up with 120 dpi these days
Thing with thread designs is that they are not HTML/CSS pages.
What designer can do is just try to make it fit into as many resolutions as possible.
We can make design suitable with no horizontal scroll bar even for 640x480 - just those lines of text where the line is too long, a brake must be included. - thing is how many people are using such resolutions?
Also for those who have really small res there is a scroll bar ...
While forum posts are not CSS/HTML scalable thread design cannot fit for all resolutions if images are included.
Only clear text will fit all resolutions. And well .. not with same paragraphs because this will change.
So designing a thread for all resolutions if you want to use some tables, images etc. is just not really possible.
Anyway - you can still see all content on low res... if you don't see few words this is why there is a horizontal scrollbar ... :] but 99% of text and images are visible on low res. Just few long links and long text lines. Few.
Best regards.
