Narrative has Launched!
We’ve been developing and testing Narrative, with tons of input from our community (that includes you), for the last year. And we’re so excited to announce that today, the Narrative Beta is open to the public.
No more waitlist, just come in and write, share images and video embeds, or see if your favorite nerdy subject has a Niche yet.
Over the last month or so, our community members have been preparing draft content for this day, so there are already more than 700 posts to peruse.

This project has been introduced here in the community for more than a year already and they are still alive. So it means, they are pretty serious in developing their platform to a real one. By the way, what are the exchanges that you are currently listed with?
Nice, draft content is up off to prepare a few drafts as we get closer and closer to the Beta.

Thanks for the compliment!Yes, considering it's a closed Alpha with a waitlist, and a content platform with no content yet, I think the numbers are pretty impressive. I expect activity to get a big bounce upwards once we add the ability to draft content this month, and then big bounce with the Beta release in March. We've got lots of marketing strategy in place to support user adoption, including paid ads, referral program, and attracting content creators specifically.

We've been pretty busy lately!
The last update to the platform was the addition of the Reputation system, which is central to our quality checks and balances in Narrative. Next up will be the ability to draft content, coming in January.

Last week, I wrote an article that talked about the problems with using algorithms to promote content. In a nutshell, Big Social uses algorithms to determine the content that we see, which gives all of us much less control.
With Narrative, though, algorithms play no role in the content that you see. Your feed(s) will always reflect the specific things you are following, be it specific people, Niches, or Publications.
