Why are people selling this so cheap? We have been hovering around 14k - 16k for few days now, bigger players are accumulating at these prices. Small spike happened with a low volume pull back and people are selling on this pull back?! Really... Smiley
If don't have the guts to HODL till 40k (my target) then at least wait till 20k-25k satoshi to get some profit. This is just getting started imho.

looks like NAV started to rise  Grin

The market depth chart on polo looks like every one is trying to sell way before 30k. Hopefully it changes because NAV coin is very promising and is way under valued right now.

Whales are testing support at this price level, those sell orders will shrink relative to buy orders during a sustained upward movement. I would hold tight and be patient, looking good for NAV.

Hey guys,

Can someone please help me.

I recently sent some NAVcoin to an exchange address using the balance in my NavCoin 3.7.0 wallet windows wallet. However, although it is showing as 'sent' in my windows wallet, I am still yet to receive the balance at the exchange's address.

Furthermore, I cannot actually locate the payment on the Navcoin blockchain.

Can anyone please assist me with this issue oradvise me on the next steps I should take to try and recover my navcoins.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance guys.

Your coins were sent using a wrong blockchain. I am sure yours forked since you are in 3x

Solution:

Update your wallet to 4.0.3

Follow this tutorial and you will be fine:

https://navtechservers.com/tutorials/full-node/

Make sure you backup wallet.dat!!!!

OK I uninstalled the NavCoin Core 4.0.3 wallet and then restarted my laptop. I then re-installed the NavCoin 4.0.3 wallet but wasn't provided with the option to import my old wallet.

However, when the wallet loads up it is showing my last two transactions where I sent the navcoins on the old blockchain and the navcoins still haven't shown up on the exchange's address.

Does this mean that they are lost and completely unrecoverable?

Seriously. I am not a whale, more like a tuna, but not a tilapia or minnow! LOL I have been accumulating since much lower prices and still am buy at these price levels. NAV is my largest stake of any digital asset I hold. Even if it hits 40k, I will just sell chunks and just keep staking. I lost out on a 6 figure gain on a 3 figure $ investment into XRP by selling too early. I'm not going to make the same mistake with NAV. NAV is just getting started and I'm sticking with em. All good signs for NAV. One thing that larger market cap non-proof of stake coins don't offer is 5% interest. When exponential growth of crypto markets slows in the longer run, as cryptos are continually treated as alternatives to traditional banking, 5% interest rates will be a huge draw. Especially when compared to traditional banking, and still small enough % rate not to saturate the market. Being the first segwit proof of stake coin puts NAVcoin on war-path for a place of dominance in that niche in the long run, which will be huge. Any "whales" (or even "tilapias", "minos", and "tunas") not entering $NAV right now are going to be missing out when we are cash out big (: NAV is a sleeping super-volcano.

Haha, I've been buying them since january 7th I think.

Here's the rich list:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/#!rich

If you go through it and see transactions, I think it's a safe bet to say it's going UP and nowhere else.
Also people commenting about whales, etc... it's not on their map yet, look what happened to Mooncoin couple of days ago, pump/dump, that's when whales get there.

I don't need to make millions, but I wouldn't mind Wink
All I want is a "safe" investment over time, a couple of years.
Hope I'm not wrong, but I'm positive like a plus on a battery this is it.

Yep...I also averaged up a bit by buying some more under 16k just now Smiley

They don't get the potential of NAV, just buy some more, I know I did Smiley

Hi Guys,

I have what i perceive to be a serious issue with my NAV wallet 32 bit windows version.

I recently purchased 4k + NAV on Bittrex, opened my NAV wallet (version 4.0.1) selected receive and copied to clipboard the address and subsequently sent the coins to my wallet. Although the transaction was verified on the blockchain the coins did not appear in my wallet. I noticed that there was an update and thought maybe that was why they didnt show so I backed up my wallet.dat and updated to 4.0.3 only to realize that the address I previously generated was not in my wallet file anymore! The address had changed on the receive tab AND the 'list old addresses' tab did not show the address either.

I replaced the wallet.dat file with the previous one I had backed up but it was the same thing.

Public key is as follows: NNrAcPd21zfMd26Kd4k75bs5nHen8QqTvu

Can anyone help?

Have u tried to resync the entire blockchain?

Just made a fresh install of the 64bit wallet on another computer, address is nowhere to be seen.
I can only think that the address was not actually created until you generate a new address and since I updated prior to doing this the address was changed.
Can anyone verify that statement?

Blockchain reloaded,
Sadly NAV still missing.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do or are they lost?

If you know how to run the wallet from the command line, try launching the wallet with the flags -rescan and -repairwallet.
Rescan will will attempt to re-check the blockchain for all prior transactions in your wallet.
Repairwallet will attempt to fix the wallet file.

If neither of those work, and you are certain you have the correct wallet file, there are tools such as pywallet that are able to recover working and partially corrupted wallet files.

Here is the github repository to pywallet: https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet

It does have a web UI once you're able to launch it, so it's not too difficult to use.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not sure the wallet file is actually corrupt though. I had a receiving address and sent NAV to that address. I subsequently backed up my wallet.dat and updated to 4.03 from 4.01, upon opening the new wallet the receiving address had changed and the one I sent the NAV to was gone (doesn't even show up as a previous address). All prior addresses remained unchanged. I don't know if I can recover it. Maybe if i install 4.0.1 again? Where can I find that?

One of the developers should have an archive of the 4.0.1 wallet. I would recommend contacting one of them.

How many days does it take to lock segwit ..??

If your asking how long it generally takes to lock Segwit, then that is determined by the community.

Navcoin says Segwit will be implemented on Sunday the 21st. Which is this Sunday. Segwit has already locked.
